FAW survey indicated 2000 interested to travel so 2000 tkts will cover that , what concerns me is that if the tkts are dirt cheap then many will buy them and NOT travel . This could mean a few hundred yet again missing out , hope FAW can prevent this ? Fan Embassy Wales have said on twitter that they'll be upping their checks and people found out with no intent to travel will face sanctions which I think would mean their previous aways being wiped. Glad they're putting additional measures in place to stop harvesting.

FA should start asking now for proof of flights etc. Put all proof of travel into a pot irrespective of no of aways. At least they are genuinely going.
The rest can fight it out. its so hard to get on the ladder if all the tickets are gone. There will be plenty available for ireland and therefore this will encourage hoarding if £40 is worth losing to get on ladder. The cheaper tickets even more so as people dont want to drop higher stages.
IMO proof of travel guarentees a ticket or becomes the new priority stage. If your asked for proof beyond ticket stage then paying for cheap flight will be worth it not to get penalised.

Yeah I'm concerned about the extent of ticket harvesting for this trip. In my group we have me on 5, another two on 4 aways and another two people on 2 aways.
Normally 2000 should see everyone sorted but if there is harvesting due to cheap ticket prices, it could be tight.

I understand your concern, but really didn't see any major indication to this happening in Belgrade/Chisinau/Tbilisi.
As we then had the World Cup games and probably even a play-off to look forward to, I would have expected that to be commonplace then. It certainly was not. At least not to my estimation

I still think proof of travel allows stage 4 etc to get a ticket. If they're keen enough they deserve it. They got no chance unless 1500+ available. Im stage 1 by the way

If we assume every seat should’ve been occupied then Georgia away was nowhere near full.

From 2019 I have decided NOT to book any more flights until we have purchased tickets due to past disappointment then last minute scramble to buy " spare " tickets from various sources , this could mean paying more for flights but so be it if it guarantees us match tickets .

I’m going to be doing the same as well. Denmark was too close a call. With the good news ref Albania tickets I should be ok with 5 aways but certainly going to make sure for next year. Will be interesting to see who we get in the Euro’s draw as we will have a minimum 5 aways between March and Nov next year.

We didn't sell out Tbilisi and I remember seeing Lucy on match day in Belgrade and she was complaining that she needed to return about 150 tickets to the Serbian FA a couple of days earlier.
Unfortunately, people are far too fast in complaining about lack of tickets (especially on FB and Twitter) but, genuinely, have no intention to travel...

Georgia was not full in the away end even though I was told we sold out soon after I bought mine.
Surely the only sure way to stop the harvesting is to only release the tickets for games such as Albania (where the prices are cheap) in Tirana itself using a passport as ID.

I was under the impression that Georgia had sold out. I stand corrected.
My goodness was that a trip and a half...

With the game being in Elbasan they could switch collection there on the day of the game if necessary.

Ok not everybody will be on these buses but surely 70% will....

I’ve Tirana travel and accommodation booked so far. Is it wise to book coach travel to the match now?

The attendance for the recent Nations League match against Israel in Elbasan was 4126 , not good support that .

That's why the FAW could quadruple our allocation on first request. Hopefully we'll be able to add another 500-1000 if demand is there.

2000 in Albania for a friendly will be great. Stunning support.
I'm really annoyed now I've booked direct from Gatwick. So many fascinating routes to take. Perhaps Italy, Turkey etc. 2019 onwards is going to be night stops in other cities.
Almost every Welsh fan I've met has asked me what route I've taken to get to our mutual destination. Really missed out whenever I've taken direct flights. It's such fun the other way.

After the nightmare getting back from Moldova if theres a direct for a reasonable price im on it. 2 days in Verona was fantastic but my bank balance and boss were not pleased...

Sorry to disappoint you ... Tickets for the away end of their Israel match two weeks ago were 1000 lek, which is a whopping £7.
And even more sad news ... There are no branches of Andy's Pizza in Albania ;-((((

Can anyone help with flights from the North?
A mate wants to come along but doesn’t fancy the drive to London (can’t blame him!)

I started Serbia in Manchester. Flew to Istanbul Ataturk first. Can they go via Turkey, Greece or Italy?
Fly direct from Gatwick (guarantee it’s full of Wales) and return via Athens.
