That's me out of it really booked all except flight so probably give this a miss no ticket no go Worth waiting to see the allocation? 500 is the minimum but they hardly sell out at home either. If the Jocks get more tickets then so should we? The Jocks aren't playing in Elbasan, they are at the larger stadium up North. Israel are in our stadium, but last time they played there was a MAJOR terror alert, that led to switching to Elbasan in the last minute and to almost all Israeli ticket holders cancelling. So they are unlikely to take more than 200-300 over...

The fact it’s in Elbasan probably means they’re expecting a small crowd. It’s a winter friendly after a string of competitive fixtures where both teams are likely to be fielding mostly fringe players.
It’s only us nutters that are interested in that sort of thing.

I've just checked and my flights with Wizz Air have changed days. Luckily means I'll be in Albania on the Monday rather than the day of the game. Unfortunately, I'd planned to travel to Berat and Ohrid and fly back from there but even though I booked a flight months ago they've now pulled the route and changed to Skopje. Looks like I'll have to revert to my original plan and just spend a couple of days in Tirana. Just need to rearrange my hotel, book flights to Luton and a hotel there and I'll be sorted. The joys of being Welsh and living in NI.

I gave a WIZZALERT in the previous page ;-)
One thing that I can suggest, is getting a 100% or 120% refund and having a look at ALITALIA (possibly with Aer Lingus from Dublin) - which have dropped dramatically since I booked them (20 minutes after match announcement) ...
Another two worth looking at are the two Blues - BLUE PANORAMA , BLUE AIR and EAST AIR

Apologies, just seen your message Not too bothered about getting to Tirana, I'll fly from Luton on the Monday morning. I can get cheap flights from Belfast and stay there the night before. Disappointed that I can't fly back from Ohrid now as I really fancied going there Will see if I can rejig my plans to try and get to Skopje as well.

If you are not flexible on your return date, it looks like the Ohrid-Vienna on Wizz with a AerLingus combo is the most convenient.
If you are flexible then a change between Basel Mulhouse Freiburg with Ryanair is super cheap with a night's stop over and on to Dublin.

For you, or anyone else that might be using Podgorica. Its been suggested that the Komani lake ferry is one of the most spectacular ferry journeys in Europe. Seems to run twice daily / year round - probably best if you double-checked... Koman to Podgorica is just 2-3 hours ride. Fierza to Tirana is a similar 2-3 hours away. Unless you want an extremely long day, best to stay a night at the stunning lake.

By the look of ticket sales on the FSHF site, I wouldn't be surprised if there would be around 1000 fans at the Israel game on 7 September in Elabasan... Unless the Albanians have a Chinese style clause about playing Bale/Rambo, the FAW should easily be able to persuade them to give us 1300 tickets - surely? bileta.fshf.org/biglietteria/listaEventiPub.do?codice=fshf

FAW survey indicated about 2,000 interested so we shall have to see ... hope we don't get another Aarhus situation again here ?

If here is a lack of interest from the locals then I hope common sense will prevail and they increase our allocation. I would expect approx 1000 to travel to this.

It wouldn't be hard to get a ticket in the home end anyway, there'll certainly be touts around the ground selling tickets for far less than we pay for the home games.

Home end tickets are only 1000 lek (£6) and they are self-printed, same as the Danish DBU and Moldovan tickets were last year.
I can imagine them being thumped by Israel and Scotland and having minimal interest, even if both Bale and Ramsey rock up to this game (which they will probably not)...

Really looking forwards to this one. 6am flight from Gatwick is an eventful start! I’ll be on the night tube when every other sod is going home after a night out.

Newbie's 1st post Be a pity to go all that way and not get a ticket, but looking forward to seeing Albania anyway. We're going from Heathrow via Rome with El Italia on the Sunday, just booked wonkysheep coach to get to Elbasan. Wouldn't have found that if I hadn't come on here. (hoping to get more aarhus tickets in the AM if they don't sell out tonight)

RYAN AIR
If anyone is booked on Ryan Air flights over, lads on YBIG mentioned that as they have introduced a new baggage policy as of 1 November a few days ago, you will be allowed to CANCEL any bookings made prior to that announcement and get a FULL REFUND.
... just in case you need to re-route yourself ;-)

Albania will make tickets available if they have an ounce of business sense. I'm a newbie away and squeezed in for Serbia, Georgia, France and now Denmark.
Lets just hope there's beer available after Scotland finish.

Saw about 15 minutes of a poor Albania v Israel match in Elbasan. Ended 1-0... Don't know the official attendance, but looked only 1/3 full - maybe 5k max?

Nothing official but I have seen 2000 mentioned on twitter. We'll do well to sell that but I imagine we could extend if we wanted to.

FAW survey indicated 2000 interested to travel so 2000 tkts will cover that , what concerns me is that if the tkts are dirt cheap then many will buy them and NOT travel . This could mean a few hundred yet again missing out , hope FAW can prevent this ?
