I do hope it is just club rumours but if theyโre true then at least players are feigning injury to play for Wales instead of feigning it to get out of playing for us haha

As a short term thing a move to a Championship club wouldn't be a bad thing (would love him at the Swans), but he has too much quality to settle for playing at that level long term. It's easy to forget he's only 22. I see him being a regular in the Premier League down the line, he just needs a bit of consistency.

Leeds is the perfect fit for him, Farke would absolutely love him like he did Max Aarons at Norwich. Neco's swashbuckling style in front of those fans as Leeds create a "mini Wales", it's the stuff dreams are made of.

I thought he'd make it at Liverpool, did well at Fulham and then thought Nottingham Forest would be a perfect move. I think he either needs to get lucky and things click for him or drop down below his level to be a big fish and get a decent 2 year run in.

Cooper has botched Neco's development really. Spent big money on him then relegates him to 4th choice.
I supppose Neco's a victim of the way modern managers operate at the top level, where they discard and replace players that don't immediately hit the ground running instead of nurturing and improving them. These managers have so much money to spend that they just take the easy option and buy new rather than invest time and energy into developing what they've got.

I think it's less to do with money and more to do with the fact the manager's themselves get replaced if they don't hit the ground running.

Forest got manhandled by Fulham tonight and Neco didn't even get off the bench. What the f*ck has he done to deserve such little game time?

Absolutely chuffed to bits that heโs had a good game today. Hopefully heโs proved a big point to the managemnment and fans in light of his piss poor treatment over the last 6 months.

Aurier and Toffolo have been among Forest's better players this season and with more defensive attributes so its nothing personal his being left out. Just got to make the most of these opportunities when he gets them.

My brother in law is a Forest fan, he loves Neco, at the weekend he sent me this.....
"Neco started today and was immense. Got the assist too. Hope it was enough to keep Stevie"
Let's hope Neco continues to shine

Excellent first half. Same true of Davies.

Kulusevski correctly awarded MOTM for his goal involvement, but Carragher had Davies a close second. But for me Neco was every bit as good as both. Hit the inside of the post late on, had another effort that looked a goal all the way but just nicked away by the outstretched boot of a defender, and had a fantastic curling assist correctly ruled out for the goalscorer being offside. He was class from start to finish.

He had a difficult start with Son, who should have scored in first 5 mins, but grew into the game and ended as, probably, Forest's best player on the night.
Hit the post, had an assist ruled out due to three Forest players being offside and snuffed out attacks down his side.

Typically, now heโs back in favour with Cooper, the manager will get sacked!

In storming form at the moment. I'd like to see him take over the right wing back role for Wales and then give Owen Beck a chance on the left as his form in Scotland has been exceptional (as good as any non Old Firm player in SPL this season) and he has always stood for the Under-21's also.

On the bench yesterday but looked handy when he came on. Watched it on Amazon Prime, Neco had an English flag next to his name, how did they come to the conclusion that Neco Williams is English?

Probably Forest's best player for three games in a row but they only picked up one point during this time. During this time they played Wolves away, Spurs at home and Bournemouth with 10 men.
Dropped to the bench, then Forest beat a Newcastle and Man United side both in poor shape currently.
Very unlucky. He got 26 mins against Newcastle and Man United being Forest's first sub on, if you include injury time.
