i imagine the cost to cro. indirect flight in and out and the 6hr round trip for osijek is a major factor.

Still around about 40 (maybe slightly more) left. There are 430 in stage 3 - really should sell out, although the buying profile / form of stage 3 is usually around 25% from past records

What happens if a ticket holder cannot make the game for whatever reason? Does that ticket go to waste? I think not, we all know these tickets are like rocking horse sh!t. Im going over without a ticket and if i get one before or over there of course im going to try and get into the ground, i suspect as long as we behave we will get in. I mentioned this in another thread about the issue of names being printed on a ticket and the ticket holder not being able to attend. Does it go to waste? What if parents usually attend games together and one of them can’t make it and they want to take one of their children instead? Or if a Father usually takes his eldest son but he can’t make it and wants to take the youngest son instead? Are they going to stop you from entering the stadium because the names don’t match? Should the FAW agree to print the other child’s name on the ticket upon request instead of the other one?

If the person who has been to x number of games to get the loyalty up can’t make it, then they don’t buy a ticket. Simple as. His younger brother hasn’t been to a game, why should he have any priority?

Managed to get my 2 at 3pm. Site went down for about a minute though.
Anyone know of anyone selling Zagreb - Osijek - Budapest bus? I sold my tickets on Leigh's bus thinking I wouldn't get tickets.. doh!
Edit: or even a bus to Budapest after the game?

Deja vu for me. Monday and Thursday trying to get my ticket and sold out each time. I'll miss out on Slovakia now and the oldest three games on the list used are about to drop off my record. I'm not going to the only game that I would get tickets for (Azerbaijan) so unless we get big stadiums next year my away days are over. It was nice while it lasted.

Gutted. Followed exactly the same process that worked successfully for my Hungary ticket but despite being in the Croatia ticket page at 3pm, I immediately had the message that no tickets were available. It does suggest that only a handful were left. On the bright side, I suppose getting a ticket for one of the two is more than many others in Stage 3 managed. Now to pray that some spares will make their way to the Osijek pubs on match day as I’m already booked on a return day trip bus from Budapest.

Just got an email back from the FAW. Passport numbers are needed for Croatia but not Hungary apparently so if you missed the passport number box for Croatia send it over to them. Thanks. Will do. Can you also enquire re Driving license? I remember FSF saying ok for Budapest?
Will do mate, may not get an answer until tomorrow as I'm waiting on my mates passport numbers to send first.

Does anyone know how long before departure you can check your bags in? The reason I ask is we arrive in split with Thomas cook and leave for osijek about 7 hours later with Croatian. I fancy getting a cab to trogir rather than sit in the airport for 7 hrs, but don't want to drag our case around.

In all honesty I would not bother on a day trip to Osijek. Better off staying in Budapest. The Osijek pubs (or lack of) would not be a big enough pull for me to return.

Don't know about trogir though. Are you on the 19:45 flight to Osijek from Split the day before the game?

I will do what i always do, get them at the ground before the game. Eventually i will be able to go to more aways therefore earn the right to buy them properly.

In this situation the ticket should be returned to the FAW for them to re-allocate I agree with you that the ticket should be re-allocated. Who will the FAW re-allocate it to if the game is officially sold out and no more tickets on sale though? For a regular game I’d imagine it’s easy enough but when the details are printed on the ticket to match photographic ID, this could be a problem.

I'm another one - there at 3pm and no luck. But I'm sure that will be true for so many. However I also count myself lucky to have got a Hungary ticket.
I've yet to decide whether to travel to Osijek from Pecs where I'm staying. There will always a some tickets on the day - work, family etc prevents somebody being there. But it does sound a long shot with so many seamingly travelling without tickets.
Is there any hope at all of some more tickets being released?

Most of Stage 3 won't have tickets - and a lot of those will also start to lost booking history. So maybe Stage 3 will be a much smaller pool for Slovakia. And I'd guess Slovakia will be a bit less popular.
