Deja vu for me. Monday and Thursday trying to get my ticket and sold out each time. I'll miss out on Slovakia now and the oldest three games on the list used are about to drop off my record. I'm not going to the only game that I would get tickets for (Azerbaijan) so unless we get big stadiums next year my away days are over. It was nice while it lasted. Let me suggest a little hope. Most of Stage 3 won't have tickets - and a lot of those will also start to lost booking history. So maybe Stage 3 will be a much smaller pool for Slovakia. And I'd guess Slovakia will be a bit less popular. I’m hoping on that as well but still expect 800+ stage 1 to travel and then it’s down to our allocation again. 1100 and we will struggle, 1800 majority should be fine

The problem is the harvesting that is going on. People can deny it all they want but it is happening. 100% mandatory collection.

In all honesty I would not bother on a day trip to Osijek. Better off staying in Budapest. The Osijek pubs (or lack of) would not be a big enough pull for me to return. I'm another one - there at 3pm and no luck. But I'm sure that will be true for so many. However I also count myself lucky to have got a Hungary ticket.
I've yet to decide whether to travel to Osijek from Pecs where I'm staying. There will always a some tickets on the day - work, family etc prevents somebody being there. But it does sound a long shot with so many seamingly travelling without tickets.
Is there any hope at all of some more tickets being released?
I think the main issue with this these days is that everybody already knows a mate that's looking for a ticket. Don't really see them being sold in the pubs before games anymore.

Does anyone know how long before departure you can check your bags in? The reason I ask is we arrive in split with Thomas cook and leave for osijek about 7 hours later with Croatian. I fancy getting a cab to trogir rather than sit in the airport for 7 hrs, but don't want to drag our case around. 90 mins according to Split airport's website, however there is left luggage at the bus and train stations (which are next to each other) and a direct bus from the airport. Don't know about trogir though. Are you on the 19:45 flight to Osijek from Split the day before the game? The legendary Phil Stead tweeted this lunchtime about advice and he seems to be on your flights. I suggested the fish restaurant on Trogir beach to him, from your post last month. If you can make further suggestions, here is the tweet

There's no storage for luggage at the airport. At bus station in Trogir there's storage for luggage. When you arrive at airport you can ask if check-in is opened, usually check in for Croatia Airlines is opened during the day. So taxi to Trogir bus station if check in isn't open

I’ve heard good things about Trogir, like a mini Dubrovnik minus the tourists

Anyone know where the pickup point for Leigh's bus is in Zagreb? Last time the Osijek buses departed from Autobusni Kolodvor Zagreb (Avenija Marina Držića 4, 10000, Zagreb, Croatia). This is also where the airport shuttle departs/arrives.

Got an email from FAW asking for the missing passport details... They are asking for it to be given before MONDAY as otherwise there will be a delay in the Croatian printing out the tickets.
For those that didn't get the email - look in your spam folder or simply email the ticket office with your details (membership number and passport) here - Tickets@faw.co.uk

Can you put the link on here? Sorry but they have now said they are going to the match. Not that I expect to see them anywhere near Croatia.

Are many travelling to Osijek and Budapest without tickets? I'm not very hopeful of getting any as it seems they're being bought out by stage 2.

Just got confirmation from Matthew at the ticket office that: "We’ve had confirmation from Croatia and Hungary that a driving licence will be accepted as a form of ID"

Just got confirmation from Matthew at the ticket office that: "We’ve had confirmation from Croatia and Hungary that a driving licence will be accepted as a form of ID" For Croatia, were they intending to print passport numbers on the tickets, or was it names? I can't understand why they would have asked for passport numbers if they didn't intend to print them.

Doesn't make sense to provide passport numbers when you can use a driving licence id to get in ?

probably so they can put a stop on passports in the event of trouble at the ground. if they identify the seat you aint flying home.
