What do we all think the criteria will be? Last 7? Albania (Friendly) Ireland (UNL) Denmark (UNL) Mexico (Friendly) Uruguay (China Cup) China (China Cup) France (Friendly) I'm assuming that it'll include all of the last qualifiers. Or else it's very Unfair as only 2 of the above are competitive and while it's right to reward those that go to every game or very far (especially China and LA) it's wrong to unfairly punish those that prioritise competitive fixtures. The WC qualifiers took into consideration all of the Euros qualifiers. It would open them up to hypocrisy if they considered different history of games for different fixtures and I can't see as much demand for Azerbaijan.

I assume it will be the same, this and last qualifiers. Will be interesting if Nations League will be counted as last qualifiers because if it does the WC one’s will drop off. I expect it to be down to the last 12ish games again though from Austria away to Albania away.

I'm looking at this as an option with possibly flying from Zagreb on the Friday night. I'm hopeful that I'll get a ticket as I've been in Stage 1 for a while but no guarantees.

I suspect that in the main those that qualify via the last 7 will be pretty much the same people those that qualify via the last 12. However they probably need to carry the full 12 through becoming 17 at the end of the year and the real kick off ( hopefully ) of finals ticket allocation. If not then those like myself on 3 / 4 will be bracketed in with the general support in the fight for tickets. I'm not sure I agree about Azerbaijan. Yes its difficult and expensive to get to but for the vast majority it is the only game we can go to and guarantee getting into. I was really excited by this draw in particular the double away header but on reflection the limited capacities at nearly all the venues has made it an awful group.

With four months to go before the game now would be a good time for the FAW to publish an analysis of how many members have 12/12 11/12 10/12 and so on.
Not just people maybe wishing to book travel to Croatia but for those waiting to know if they need to book travel from Zagreb to the game and back!
Bus organisers will benefit too I think....less of a rush when allocation/stages are finally firmed up.
I assume quite a lot of fans will be doing the double header but some a clearly only have a chance of a ticket for the game in Budapest!!
The more info at this stage the better.

Did we sell approx 1200 in stage 1 for Albania game?
I think it will be the 11 above + Albania game
If allocation for Croatia is less than 1200 then can only really see those in stage 1 (if same staging applies) getting tickets
I.e. approx 1200 with 7/12 aways

Can't say I found Osijek lovely seven years ago, manulike! This was the write-up at the time - bit.ly/2MPaArAThe fans' friendly was a good day out - bit.ly/2TyddABI reckon the whole trip was one of the best in 5-6 years. As usual, the match itself was one of the lowlights

General consensus is that capacity is approx 19000, I can’t see them giving us more than the minimum 5%, so 950, the only way I think we’ll get any more is if the seats / stands for away fans can’t be split exactly to the number allocated.
I reckon it’ll be 8 from 12 in stage one which I think will be less than 950 in that category so guaranteed a ticket.
Stage two 7 from 12 to fight for the remainder if we only get 950
Stage three 6 from 12, only real hope is if they give us more than 5%
All guesswork of course.

Our group are a mix of 6,7 and 8.
Flights and bus are booked for both regardless, we’ve always managed to get tickets so far so worth the risk for a few of us.

It’ll be interesting to see how they sell Hungary tickets with games so close together?
Croatia obviously First with 7 or 8 from 12, Then Hungary a short period after with some people potentially moving up or down in the priority depending if they buy and attend Croatia or not?

I'm looking at this as an option with possibly flying from Zagreb on the Friday night. I'm hopeful that I'll get a ticket as I've been in Stage 1 for a while but no guarantees. CONNECTION FROM OSIJEK TO NOVI SAD
Note that there is only a connecting train on workdays: Monday to Friday.
From Novi Sad it is: Novi Sad departure 10.05 - Sombor 12.45/13.00 - Erdut 14.09/14.38 - Osijek arrive 15.27 (last leg 23 kn CASH ONLY £2.70). Novi Sad station ARE ABLE to sell the through ticket up to ERDUT (but she needed to get permission to do that). Novi Sad to Erdut costs 434 RSD (£3.20) so the whole trip is under £6.
Going the other way (Monday?): Osijek to Erdut two departures at: 11:03 and 13:28
The place to stay in Belgrade it Hotel Slavija - the best breakfast on the planet ;-)))

Especially for adecolley These are the designer plans that have been approved for the BRAND NEW Osijek Stadium, due to open in Summer 2020. So it looks like our match will be the last opportunity to catch the traditional delights of Osijek stadium ;-)
Is it just me, or has the designer visited Bordeaux in 2016 ;-)

So, Leigh being the true hero of Wales away days that he is has offered a few options for the Zagreb-Osijek-Budapest trips. Here's his email if you want to jump on any of the below: leigh_wales@yahoo.co.uk
Saturday 8th - Zagreb - Osijek - Zagreb - £28.50
Saturday 8th - Zagreb - Osijek - Budapest - £39
Sunday 9th - Zagreb - Lake Balaton - Budapest - £29
Think we'll be going straight from Osijek to Budapest and having the extra night in Budapest, sadly cutting our time short in Zagreb but loved Budapest last time I went so not too shook up about it.

Not a lot of time for people to get tickets in between the two matches and then the logistical issues of sorting picking up tickets in Budapest. I have a feeling they'll just use the same criteria for both Croatia and Hungary.

For this to happen the FAW will have to close the Croatian ticket sales before the Hungary tickets go on sale, and complete all their checks. With the limited resources they have will be possible?
