Found an official stadium guide which states International capacity is 22,000 and that the away area holds between 1,350 and 2,200 depending on numbers . So we shall see . . . . . it's about 3Km from City centre which is serviced by a metro line or about a 40 minute walk .

We should be straight in there with a request for 3k with the carrot we'll give them 3k in return. I know we'd give them that anyway but its worth a try. We could do with them losing their openers away at Slovakia and home to Croatia as their a bit fickle when their losing.

Good spot. If we are a little more optimistic, the Hungary v Croatia match is a massive rivalry and its played at 6pm on a Sunday - so the Hungarians should expect to easily fill out their 22000 capacity.
We are a 8.45pm KO on a Tuesday.
I imagine around 3000 showing interest in this - hopefully, the FAW can swing a 2700 deal both ways?

THE BUDAPEST BKK TUBE
Their system must be one of the most complex and annoying to get one's head around. Especially their ticketing, but also the ongoing LINE M3 CLOSURE mid-week after 8pm and all weekend. Add to that, that you can only use the Travelcard passes on the ferries on weekdays ...
Anyway, there are a few bargains to be had:
TRAVELCARD for 24-hours is quite pricey at 1650fl. / £4.50 (considering that single tickets are £1 each) Unless you are trveling alone (and using at least 4 trips per day), the 3-day TravelCard is also poor value.
HOWEVER
TRAVELCARD for 24-hours FOR A GROUP OF UP TO FIVE PEOPLE is only 3300fl. / £9 Note that with the group travel card, ONE PERSON must be named and ID number given - so make sure that person always carries their ID - the other four can be randon strangers - and it is customery to "adopt" ticketless people ;-)
TravelCard 5/30 (ANY designated 5 X 24-hour days within a 30 days period) decent value at 4550 fl. = £2.50/day
7-DAY TravelCard is excellent value at 4950 fl. = £2/day
THE BKK TRANSPORT APP is very good.

Don't suppose anyone knows how many tickets the Croats had in Hungary yesterday? Could give us an indication of how much we'll be allocated.

They come to us for the final potentially crucial qualifying decider. Tell them we'll give them 3,000 for that if they give us 3,000 for the game out there. Otherwise its the 5% which we stick to for the return. Nothing to lose by asking as they're probably giving us the 1300 as things stand. Same goes for Croatia.

We can always ask John Delaney to do the negotiations for us and probably get 4k allocation in return for 2.5k ;-)

Nevertheless there could be a deal to be done. They play us in a crucial final game in Cardiff. We should offer them 3000 in return for 3000. Has to be worth a go. As Manulike has said, if its was the Irish, it would be in the bag.

The FAI managed to get 800 tickets from the Gibraltar FA in a 2,300 capacity stadium... When there is a will, there should be a way.
Speaking of Will, I reckon we should give Vaulks the task to negotiate our tickt allocation. He comes across as a second Gunts - Fan's man - that will actally care.

I think we'll get c1,700 which for me, is considered 'plenty' on 7/12.

... Especially for the avid Trash Metal fans that didn't manage to get a ticket, and didn't get enough head banging in Osijek ...
Slayer and Anthrax are performing in town on the same day as us at 8pm, at the Papp László Arena, next to the Puskás Stadium.
