Ok fair enough. I still think it will just make stage 3, but sounds like it will be very close. Yes. Stage one seems to always have a very large up-take. I'd be surprised if less than 700/801 sell. More likely closer to 750.
Still, stage two seems to have surprisingly low takers ... So yes, possibly 50-100 tickets left over for stage 3.
It would be great if the FAW would release 100-150 of their VIP allocation ;-)

Yes agreed. I expected approx 1300 for this game going from previous allocations so very disappointed as feel short changed

I'm starting to like the look of this stadium
If the locals do fill it, it's gonna be bouncing in there ;-)

When you consider the low allocations how many are realistically going to do the 2 games? Don't get me wrong a few days in Croatia then Hungary sounds great but the logistics of the Croatia game has almost put me off. Osijek ffs! If brains were used Zagreb was a no brainer.
Budapest now sounds the more attractive prospect. Direct flights from the UK and a reasonable chance of extra tickets as invariably Hungary won't sell out.

Budapest now sounds the more attractive prospect. Direct flights from the UK and a reasonable chance of extra tickets as invariably Hungary won't sell out. Personally I would say that a very high percentage of those with a good likelihood of getting tickets for the Croatia game will also plan to go into Hungary as well (maybe as high as 90%). Those that are going to get tickets for the Croatia game are going to be the hard core. Osijek might be in the arse end of Croatia, but these are the type of fans that have sat on buses for hours on end to get to Zenica, Andorra de Vella etc, etc, so Osijek isn't going to be any different to them. Once there, Budapest is only a few hours away from there anyway. Of course, there might be a few that only do one or the other. Probably more that will do just the Hungary game because it is easier to get too. I'm not sure that the Hungary game won't be a sell-out. I'm pretty sure that their game against Croatia was a sell-out and from what I saw on the TV the ground was bouncing. There is a renewed interest in Hungarian football at the moment.

I think the fact tickets are not on sale yet for Hungary / Home fans, give us hope that we may receive additional tickets if asked?

Disgusting that the Croats were given at least 1,300. Again FAW not fighting our corner when going after ticket allocations. Very unfair comment this, FAW have always tried to get a many tickets as possible for Welsh fans. In recent years this is proven with the Denmark and Austria games. I think Croatia were given 1300 in total which included 200 VIP/Friends/Family tickets, this will be the same for us.

Given that we're likely to sell our allocation on the 2nd or 3rd of May, gives the FAW a week to negotiate a few hundred more tickets. Had a quick look at the MLSZ web site. It appears that at least for the Újpest FC game they allocate 1253 AWAY TICKETS at 600ft. each (£1.60)...
Not sure how strict this is, but it also says:
Ticket sales
In football matches falling under the scope of Act I of 2004 on Sports and of Government Decree 54/2004 (III.31.) On the safety of sports events, according to the special decision of the Qualification Committee or on the recommendation of the Qualification Committee . Ticket sales must be made by name in the event of an increased security risk or match set by the MLSZ Disciplinary Committee . The name, place of birth and date of birth are mandatory for the ticket sales. For information on how to manage your data, please refer to the Information Sheets> Data Protection menu.
UPDATE This is from the Chelsea recent visit to the stadium in December 2018:
"IMPORTANT: To comply with Hungarian law, the name of each ticket holder, date of birth and place of birth is shown on the ticket and an original passport must be produced at the point of entry to the stadium. "
Looks like Away fans get seated in SECTOR E - near corner flag:

Doesn't say if it has to be a Hungarian passport / place of birth though? For those looking to buy tickets in the home end.

Copied from their website about sales for this match :
The Hungarian national team plays its next home match in its Euro 2020 qualifying campaign at 8:45pm on 11th June. Tickets for the fixture will go on sale starting 10th May.
As with the Hungary vs Croatia match in March, Supporters' Club members will have an opportunity to purchase tickets for the Hungary vs Wales match before other fans. The sale of tickets to Supporters' Club members will commence at 8am on the 10th May with a 15% discount. To be a member of the Supporters' Club, you must also possess a Supporter Card.
For supporters who are not members of the Supporters' Club, tickets will go on sale from 8am on the 13th May. Club cards are not required for the purchase of tickets but upon entry to the stadium, organisers may verify that the identity of supporters matches the details appearing on the ticket.
Ticket prices remain unchanged, ranging from 3,500 HUF to 15,000 HUF depending on the stadium sector. Tickets can be purchased online at meccsjegy.mlsz.hu, at the TEX Bálna, or at Ticket Express offices nationwide.

From what I've read, as long as your name and date of birth is on the ticket, there shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Looks like there might be a few Welshmen at the TICKET EXPRESS office at the Top Floor of the BALNA SHOPPING CENTRE, near Fovam Ter metro station then. Open 1000 to 1800 ;-)

To be honest I think we should be counting ourselves lucky not to have been negatively impacted. UEFA could have thrown the book at Hungary and ordered the game be played behind closed doors.

A warning for anyone looking to purchase tickets in the home end;
How can I purchase tickets if I am a foreign citizen?
Foreign nationals do not need a club card; by showing your passport you can purchase tickets in person at stadium ticket offices or at ticket offices specified for this purpose by the organiser. For Hungary national team matches, on the meccsjegy.mlsz.hu website during the ticket purchase process, on theTicket collection and payment settings page select the ‘Voucher – only for foreign citizens’ option instead of the E-ticket option. Once you have made your purchase you will receive a voucher, which in itself does not entitle you entry into the match. By verifying your identity and producing the voucher at the match venue you will receive your entry ticket. If the voucher owner is unable to prove their foreign nationality (but not the nationality of the opposing team), issuing of tickets may be denied and the purchaser will not be entitled to reimbursement of the ticket price or any other costs incurred.
In the instance of Hungary national team matches, citizens of the visiting team may strictly only purchase tickets for the away support sectors and only through the visiting team’s federation.

I thought were a real menacing lot. If that had been England with them in Bordeaux on the Sunday night it would have got really nasty. I'll settle for watching the game in a nice bar in Budapest, although I'll have my wife and kids with me so I'm a bit nervous about that.
