Really? I don't see what any of it has to do with away fans. To be honest I think we should be counting ourselves lucky not to have been negatively impacted. UEFA could have thrown the book at Hungary and ordered the game be played behind closed doors. It was a tongue in cheek comment. Ah yes I can see that now. Went over my head that sorry!

Ok fair enough. I still think it will just make stage 3, but sounds like it will be very close. Yes. Stage one seems to always have a very large up-take. I'd be surprised if less than 700/801 sell. More likely closer to 750.
Still, stage two seems to have surprisingly low takers ... So yes, possibly 50-100 tickets left over for stage 3. It would be great if the FAW would release 100-150 of their VIP allocation ;-)
Based on previous tickets sales (74% to 83%), I'm expecting between 600 and 700 to sell in stage 1. I wonder if the ID checks will hit sales? I am not in stage 1 so if there is an easy way to report on the number sold, can someone post it on here?

On the FAW T&C when buying the ticket: "We have been asked by the Hungarian FA to collect and share personal details for all ticket holders, in line with national and stadium regulations. Some or all of this information will be printed on the ticket and a passport/driving license ID check will be conducted at the turnstile before entry is permitted. If the details on the ticket do not match the ID, entry will be denied and no refund given. "
The actual information collected during the purchase were PLACE and DATE of birth - NOT the actual passport or driving license number. From my understanding of the Chelsea match in December, tickets WERE checked against ID based on name and date of birth.

At 12 noon I was given a seat in Block E (1) row 16. As far as I can see from the FAW availability, their sales (for 5 or 6 tickets) start from row 34?
Has anyone got a seating chart of number of rows/seats in Block E?

Think some sort of system glitch was going on there. In stage 2 but thought i'd log in and have a look on the Laptop. Said you don't have the correct criteria...but when logged in on the phone was able to put it in the basket no problem despite only having 7 aways. Didn't purchase, though. Will wait the official turn. I wonder how often this happens?

Just let the basket expire it's 15 minutes and then tried to place 1 in again but seems to have corrected itself now with the 'error criteria message'. Will do, otherwise every bugger will be trying it! Mind you, FAW could always immediately refund the purchase if people were found to be buying in the wrong stage i suppose.

Same happened to me, didn't purchase. When I tried to assign another ticket to a mate in the same stage but wouldn't let me. Seemed to have corrected itself pretty quickly.

A VERY rough estimate so far (1.30pm) is circa 650 tickets sold. Sales are at row 20 seat 30 in E(2) now which is roughly 2/3 through section E (which officially actually holds 1273). It started from seat 1 row 34 E(1).
If anyone cares to follow the progress with a comparative interactive chart, there is one here

Hopefully, FAW will update when stage 1 closes to give stage 2 some idea Almost everyone in Stage 2 should be ok.. From past experience, the percentage of sales in phase 2 is nowhere near as many as in phase one. All things considered (especially seeing the local ID controls at the gates) I'd imagine around 150 or maybe even 200 tickets still left over for phase three

Bought ours upto E2 Row 25 Seems to be up to row 32 seat 38 now. Circa 700 sold, maybe slightly more - allowing for a few singles that are scattered around.
E1 and E2 combined total 854

Think I read somewhere about place of birth required. And also drivers licence will be accepted at ground. However drivers license doesn't give place of birth.

Ye, and I have seen a post on social media stating one guy put down “Paradise” as his place of birth. Imagine not being let in over some humour!
