Only had half an eye on his match v Milwall, but thought he did very well. Putting himself about and a few decent clearances.
Don't like being harsh on a young defender that only just turned 20, but if he was playing at an international level, he really can't be pulling shirts and pushing the forwards so forcibly.
Sad that Roberts lost his place in the starting lineup ;-(

As someone who paid close attention to the game he was pretty poor. Gave the ball away a lot when trying to play forward, dove in a few times with no great urgency to recover when played around, and yes some clumsy defending on the wrong side of the law as written. He looks like he's carrying too much weight to me.
Millwall made Swansea look a team of cloggers tbf, outside a few moments in the second half. Tough to impress even as a battling centre half.

Cabango has lost a bit of confidence, but he was still decent. But having to play in a shapeless team, under Cooper, can't help. Swansea are going backwards at a rate of knots, which isn't great for the Welsh contingent, especially Roberts.

The Swans should snap them up!

Looks like he's been dropped for Naughton at CB.
Bit harsh. Hope it doesn't hit his confidence too much.

Yeah, according to the commentator he's only on the bench because of a hernia issue.
This is the first time I've watched swansea in a while and I'm starting to get why their fans are unhappy, they really are mediocre. Shef Wednesday dominated the first half and should be 2 up. Guehi's been the best player on the park!

Guehi's been the best player on the park! This is actually slightly better than normal imo. Usually Bidwell kills every attack down the left and Brewster's central on his own failing to hold the ball up or make useful runs. Get Cullen on. Guehi's best game by a long way, unfortunately.

Much better second half. Connor Roberts having a brilliant second half - he's assisted both goals and put in one crunching tackle. I think he's playing on the right wing?
Gallagher looks a bit of a fraud to me. Obviously brewster's going to be a massive loss next season but I wouldn't be concerned about losing gallagher so, provided you can replace brewster, you shouldn't be too much worse off next season

With us he's just effort and running with no real guile or craft to his game. Linked to PL clubs in big money moves. Chelsea will be laughing if there's any truth to that. Get Jack Evans alongside Grimes and play Byers in his 10 role from the u23s. Brewster's just a poacher. Doesn't offer anything until the ball drops to him in the box. Which is exactly how I would characterise Liam Cullen. Some strikers get goals, others improve how your side plays. Not many do both at Championship level. The ones that can end up in the PL one way or another.

Yeah we conceded one of their set pieces earlier, and that's all they attempted all game really and Ben stood up to the challenge.
Great to see him get his first goal, which was a huge goal for us in terms of putting ourselves in the play-off picture.

the three at the back could well get us there - always favoured it myself provided its attack minded and not a back 5 - essentially its a back 5 defending but otherwise your wing backs are wingers.
for me it needs to be:
naughton cabango Guehi/VDH
roberts gallagher grimes bidwell
celina ayew Brewster
not many better starting 11's in the champ - criminal how we aren't in the playoffs

He's got a hell of an engine. Commentators mentioned several times how he was the furthest player up the pitch (as when he assisted for the equalizer).

Decent game today again, good performance overall against Leeds which was a close game. Another 90 minutes under his belt at Championship level, 21st appearance this season.

Didn't realise he was dual nationality. Half Angolan. Not worried about losing him though, Welsh language, born in Cardiff and played at every age group.

There’s not many that turned their back on Wales over the years. Sheedy had strong Irish roots. Might be a myth about somebody from FAW telling him to ‘bugger off, we’ll call you don’t call us’. Rob Jones said he never felt Welsh. Bond(Who) did a U Turn. Michael Owen wasn’t even qualified for Wales. The school rule wasn’t in place then.

No chance he’ll switch. I remember a youtube video saying that he was glad the Euros were postponed because it could help his chances. With the amount of injuries we have at CB, he’ll be a September call up (if fit).

There’s also a young Scottish lad isn’t there? But yeah saying that we’ve done well getting players in. Always thought there was loads until I had to think about it.

My understanding is that Rodon & Mepham are possibilities to miss out, therefore; Cabango, Chester, Lockyer, Ash, J.Lawrence & Ampadu our options aside from them
