Stayed composed, da iawn Ben. Another good game for him all in all.
Hopefully from a Cymru perspective Van der hoorn, Wilmott won’t be there next season. Not sure what’s happening with Guehi.

With hindsight should have been on from the start instead of VDH but understandable that Cooper went for experience in such a big game.

Great interview with him here, it's refreshing to see genuine and sincere passion.

Leeds reortedly looking at him Guess we'd prefer him to get another season under his belt playing at Swansea but to be connected to them perhaps reflects the fact that he did very well last season and has potential. Reading some posts her you'd swear he could not pass the ball 10cm!
Defenders have different strengths. We have enough defenders who can stroke the ball around! You seldom get perfect defenders who are technically brilliant on the ball, aggressive, fast and winning their duels! A write up on the Leeds interest highlighted how dominant Cabango had been in his duels last season (especially aerially), while his pass completion was pretty decent too! Good luck to him!

I think it’s great to see players doing interviews in Welsh. They’re not doing an exam, just talking naturally, and wish we didn’t have frustrated teachers commenting as we don’t comment on player’s English.
He also comes over as a good bloke and he’s a footballer who’s shown a lot of potential already.

I live in a predominantly Welsh-speaking area and I know a lot of learners here often fear that their Welsh "isn't up to scratch". That's a shame and can put a lot of people off learning it. We should really be encouraging and praising people to learn and speak it.
Young kids in Wales look upto these players and they are in a great position to act as ambassadors for the language! 😀

I'm a learner - and confidence is a big thing for me. Particularly because my English is very strong so I'll probably always feel that my Cymraeg is no where near my English - but as they say, bad Welsh is better than good English!!

My English has always been better than my Welsh despite being a 1st language Welsh speaker 🤦♀️ so don't let that put you off!

Fair play to the lad, good to see him going for it in Welsh. Our language survives because of the fluent Welsh speakers, but the only way it’ll thrive is if we are accepting towards different levels of understanding. Would love to see all the lads try even if it’s only a few words.
I always tell people when I discuss Welsh with other Welsh people. I’m just under fluent and when you trip up on one or two words you’re mocked for not being able to speak Welsh. I worked with Polish people and when you say 2 or 3 easy sentences it genuinely brings a smile to their face and they’re complimentary on how well your Polish is.

Bit of talk of whether it'd be Ben or Kyle Naughton starting today, but Cabango gets the nod alongside Joe Rodon and Marc Guehi.

Clever goal. Instead of shooting straight off sliced the ball against his shin to fool the defenders and scored with his second shot. Will be shown on skills videos for years to come.
Had a very good game again.
Rodon was magnificent. Incredible how many headers he won. £40m or f off.

watched most of the game and thought all the Welsh boys played well again. Rodon's distribution in particular was good and some of Cabango's passing wasn't too shabby either. I missed bradshaw's goal though - any of the Welsh boys at fault?

I missed bradshaw's goal though - any of the Welsh boys at fault? No, it was down Guehi's side, and Benda was really at fault, he should have shaved it comfortably. Cabango looked good, Rodon was magnificent. All three of them avoided injury, and look at full fitness.
