I thought Gunter and RND outperformed him against Mexico so it’s a no from me. Doesn’t look ready yet.

I do think he's better suited for the game against Czechia though. He has some attributes in which he excels in more than any of our other centre-backs, namely his ability at set pieces in both boxes. That could be a very useful attribute against Soucek, and the Czech's.
It wasn't going to be on show as much against a Mexican side with Hirving Lozano up front, that was looking to keep the ball.

I think his physicality will work against him in a competitive match, and although I wouldn't mind seeing him start instead of Mepham, I think both Mepham and Rodon beat him for pace which is quite important in modern defending.

Has to start tuesday for me. Agreed. Definitely better than Gunter/RND/Mepham/Lawrence at the moment and will only get better with more games.

He's down as the middle CB and doesn't start ahead of Rodon, so can't see him starting Tuesday
Will be a choice between Mepham/Gunter for the right sided CB. I'd choose Gunter, but in reality I think Mepham will be selected

I'd go for 4 at the back Vs Czech Republic Gunter Cabango Rodon Neco Why does Roberts get dropped out of interest? Roberts is great but I think he could benefit from a rest and I reckon Gunter is slightly better defensively + organising the team. If the Czech Republic are anything like they were Vs Belgium we're going to be under pressure and defending a lot tomorrow night. Maybe a back 5 is a good option. Interesting to hear some that were in the stadium the other day say how much Gunts was giving instructions and organising things.

I think we need that, I think a few of us are a little guilty of forgetting just how young these guys are. Once Allen went off against Belgium, we only had 3 players older than 25 on the pitch. Bale and the inexperienced Ward & Lawrence.

Once these players have 3/4 years under their belts we'll have a cracking team, considering we can play reasonably well against Belgium with such a young team

A serious challenger to Mepham for that RCB spot now I think. Either in a 4 or 5.Was a brick wall in both semis. Not to mention the club connection with Roberts and Rodon either side. Moreover it allows Amps to plug that midfield gap.
He’ll be full of beans whatever the result in the final, compared to Mepham and a match unfit Lockyer.
I’d like some confirmation on how fast he is. I’ve seen some comments saying he’s quick, some saying he’s slow.
He looked fairly quick today, but I haven’t watched Swansea /Cabango week in week out.

Thought he lost his man for the Barnsley goal.
Behind Mepham for me but would not be too concerned if he played

I'd have Cabango over Mepham. He's more familiar with Rodon, and in higher form and confidence than Mepham right now.

I agree, I want to see Cabango start against France with the rest of our team being 1st choice players, and see how well he does. We need to go strong against France to get up to speed with a team like Italy, and we can experiment more against Albania

Just caught up on an S4C documentary about the Cabango brothers 'Y Brodyr Cabango Dau Frawd Dwy Game', (The Brothers Cabango, Two Brothers, Two Games) a really good watch actually. They both seem to be respectful and well brought up young men and very committed. (interesting to note Gwennan Harries as Theo Cabango's PE teacher I believe).

He looked the business today, also impressed with Huddersfield's loanee Colwill. Season long from Chelski.

If only Rodon stayed at Swansea. Him and Cabango could've became our ideal CB pairing.

Still believe they will be, its only a matter of time and trial and error I suspect before this is eventually stumbled upon. Cabango is already performing at a much better standard than Mepham and Lawrence amongst others.

His passing already looks to have improved under Martin.

Martin might be a great fit for him. I always felt that his ability on the ball was one of his main weaknesses - he'll certainly have plenty of opportunities to work on that under Martin!

I think if he does improve on the ball he becomes a better option than Mepham. Mepham can struggle physically, and just hasn't filled me with confidence in a while. From what i've seen of Cabango he seems to be the 'enjoys the physical battle' type

I imagine Rodon-Ampadu will be our pairing going forward, especially if the likes of Levitt kick on
Ben should definitely be in the squad though, how Lawrence gets in ahead of him is baffling
