Give him a break - knocking him down before he has even properly started!!

I like that he was an attacking threat as well as providing energy and physicality in the middle of the park. |

Vaulks improved as the game went on needs to watch rash challenges. a few slack balls but then worked hard to make up for mistakes. Needs more awareness when in more central positions but a delightful ball for the goal. Should be proud of his debut and I hope he puts in work to improve his all round game. Not sure how I feel about the game in general more questions than answers, Roberts was bright on the ball but I`d like to seem him do that further up the pitch he was far too deep for me at times.

I thought he had a great debut! Could see him slotting in alongside Allen very well. Well done Giggsy, a good find, and great addition to the squad!

I think every team needs a player like Vaulks and we haven't had one for a while. His positive attributes more than make up for his lack of grace or natural talent. He gives good balance to the passing of Allen, the creativity of Ramsey and the pace of bale. Could be a starter in a few years, who knows?

Decent addition but prefer Andy King. Have to disagree. Andy King is on the decline and Vaulks looks like a very similar player who gets about the pitch. I thought he did quite well - especially second half. I'd like to see him alongside better players to see what he can bring |
