That's 3 goals in about 60mins of football for Bournemouth now. Not a bad return that In the post match interview Scott Parker said he’s hardly trained since he came back from injury.

Blydi gutted for Forest, by far and away the beast team I've seen at Swansea in the championship post lockdown.

I imagine this is how he will be used next season. Their go-to sub with half an hour to go if they're trailing by a goal or two. I think that's how we should use, and perhaps against poor teams that just camp up in their own box against us as it woul dbe good to have a target to aim for in those games

I still like the idea of him starting, he was a nightmare for Belgium in his last game for us

I think he will start v Poland and then they’ll make a decision I wouldn’t start him against Poland. Zero risk of injury. He could be massive for us in the play off.

I would start him against Poland. He's obviously not match fit and only come on as a sub against Forest on the 59th minute. Bournemouth only have one game left and we need kieffer to be as fit as possible for the 5th June. I think a good 40 to 50 mins run out against Poland will help his fitness, but even with that run out I don't think he will be fit enough to last the full game.

We don’t play him and risk it against Poland. It’s a no brainer! The Poland game is Danny Ward, Levitt, Colwill, Matondo territory. Why Ward? Personally I think Hennessey is back in the hot seat. But I’d like to see one last look at Ward.

Would also like to see others who need the minutes getting some gametime. So I would go for something like: Hennessey Neco Meps Rodon Lockyer RND Levitt Morrell Wilson Bale Moore Bring Bale and Neco off half time / early second half, and bring Rodon, Wilson and Moore off around 10mins later

Well it's quite simple, we need to have everyone fit and firing, and Bale's hardly played. Yes, I know this is deja vu because the exact same points were made before Austria and look what happened, but we can't expect him to pull off that type of performance every time he comes back from being completely left out in the cold. That Austria performance was a bit of a one-off, he usually does take some time to build up form. I think it's worth taking a small risk to get some sharpness into him

Done it again.
Mad that now Bournemouth are promoted he still isn’t starting, I can only think Bournemouth are worried he’d break the decimal counting system with the number of goals he would score if he consistently played 90 minutes 😂

He'll be for them what I imagine he will become for us - a really useful Plan B. Someone who can provide a completely different dynamic from the bench, or can be utilised in specific games where opponents are particularly poor in the air. Also showing that he's a really good impact sub, which bodes well for next season

Really pleased for the bloke, he’s been doubted at every turn and yet has gone on to score goals in the premier league and European championship. Not bad for a cart horse! 😉
Also, am I right in thinking that he’s now done the Earnshaw by scoring at every level of the pro game in England?

5 goals in 175 minutes for Bournemouth. Messi would be jealous of those numbers!
Also played a volleyed cross field pass at one point.

I hate Talksh*te but had to post this on this occasion. Kieffer was also eligible for China when he chose to play for us. He was approached by a club in China, with the view to him eventually representing the national team and counting towards their home grown quotas See the last 2-3 mins of the interview youtu.be/SN31y_1z1PQ

How do professionals not know it has to be a grandparent?

How do professionals not know it has to be a grandparent? Grandparent rule is for the countries in the UK. I'd imagine he's have *actually* qualified for China through some kind of residential rule (hence why they wanted him to play for one of their clubs before representing the national team). Perhaps he would count towards their quota after naturalisation (which may be quicker with great-grandparent heritage?)
