Don't want to bang on about this, but this would further crowd out any space for Colwill to be given opportunities. If Moore joins, he would be the first choice CF with Ugbo as back-up. Grant seems to be seen as an out and out LW option. Robinson has played all of pre-season as a second striker / attacking mid, sharing that role with Ramsey in their last friendly. The only position that seems up for grabs is RW, which doesn't really work for Colwill. That's where he did come on in their last friendly.

I agree in general that there are concerns regarding Colwill's playing time this season, but I don't think this particular transfer would really change much as I don't think it was ever Bulut's plan to use Robinson as the lone striker. If we do sign Moore, I think all that changes is Ugbo (who I assume was initially signed to be a starter) is pushed to the bench and Etete is possibly loaned out. I imagine the first choice front 4 would look like: MooreGrant Ramsey RobinsonWith Meite and Colwill providing depth. Not ideal from Colwill's perspective, but considering Ramsey's injury history, and the inconsistency of Robinson and Grant in the past, he should hopefully get decent minutes. Having said that, this season is make or break for him at Cardiff, and if he can't force his way in/isn't given an opportunity, then he needs to leave next summer and find guaranteed first team football.

For sure those are the best individuals but I'd be very surprised if Bulut, his first job in the UK, decides to pick best individuals instead of best combination. I was expecting Grant to be used as a central striker with Robinson on the left and Ramsey/Colwill fighting out for 10 role and this might still be the plan but it hasn't been seen in pre-season. That being said, our younger players have been given an opportunity in pre-season with some positive noises and at some point it's their responsibility to just take the job from the older head.

On his way to Millwall apparently Seems a funny choice. I'd have thought he'd have had a few clubs after him. Good news for Wales though presuming he gets game time. Shame it's not at Cardiff though, and wouldn't have hurt having him playing with Ramsey and Colwill on occasion.

Hardly a dream move - Kieffer is beginning to amass a fair number of clubs that he's played for, but he never sticks it out for too long at any of them.
Surprisingly, Cardiff is the team he has most appearances for (64 games, 25 goals - if Wikipedia is right).

I did think that, just thought it'd be unlikely they'd play together for Wales. Although sounds like the move is off anyway.

Surely it’s CCFC if anywhere? Good connection with the club and fans. Good links with players etc

Didn't he leave on a sour note from Cardiff? Surprised fans will want him back. I'm sure I remember people saying he downed tools long before he left.

I think if you have the chance to sign a proven Championship goalscorer then that goes out the window for most (within limits obviously depending what the player did). But yea he wanted to leave when he did.

Be staying at Bournemouth now, which is a shame as it probably means a few minutes off the bench for the next four months.

What's with the Bournemouth manager? He hardly ever plays Kieffer - and over the weekend, they get thumped 4-0 by Arsenal; he uses 5 subs - bot not Kieffer OR Dai Brooks.
Bournemouth fans themselves are now starting to whinge, and are asking for Kieffer to be given a chance, rather than wearing out Solanke for whole games (with nothing to show for it).
Will the big man at last be given a run-out against Everton next week, so that the has some minutes under his belt before our camp? I doubt it.

I have a feeling that three or four bad results in the next five games will probably see him sacked, Everton, Wolves, Burnley, Liverpool and Man City next. I can see them coming out of that with 5 points max, if they fail to win any he's gone for sure.

Brooks has played well when he's been on the pitch this season, so it's strange to see he's not played more. Unless it's all part of phasing him back in

Just got his 12th goal for Wales tonight. Just 4 away from the top 10 all time list. I can honestly see him getting there. His 36th or 37th cap tonight I believe

At the moment I just hope Kieffer remains fit and clear of suspensions. We look very limited and tame without him up front. That's including Brennan Johnson, who in my humble opinion has not started firing for us yet. As has been mentioned, good blossoming partnership with Dan James, can only get better the more they play together. Referring to last night, might have been an idea to give Paul Mullins a go, no worse than the other forwards who were given an outing.

If we can't find another way of scoring (and the second half last night didn't convince me we have albeit with an experimental team), I'd say we need to find another big striker who's good in the air. Mullins while decent in the air isn't that, being much shorter.

Match of the day describing it as a header into an empty net, but he actually did the work to win the ball initially, progress the attack, then his movement was excellent to get on the end of the cross.

Poor defending allowing Moore to walk into the box, below average pass from Moore to player who sent the cross in, but Kieffer did extremely well to secure the ball before his pass and well enough follow through with the attacking move.

Haha, calm down Andrea Pirlo. He's won the ball and slipped Tavernier through with a defence splitting pass. Everything Kieffer did, from winning the ball through to putting it in the net, was thoroughly decent.

Looks like he's off to Ipswich, who are rivalling Leeds to be the main Championship Wales A side (and embarrassing Swansea and Cardiff in the process).
Good move for us, should get plenty of gametime before the playoffs. I still have no idea what our front 3 should look like with Moore and Brooks set to get a lot more gametime, James flying, Wilson's recent form for us and some great (albeit patchy) performances for Fulham, Ramsey returning, and not to forget our £45m man at Spurs. Safest option would be to start Moore with potentially James and one of Brooks/Wilson/Johnson behind him. Alternatively we could play Johnson centrally again

Probably stating the obvious, but training (and possibly playing) regularly with Nathan Broadhead is a great prospect ;-) #Finger.Lickin
