His touch is much better than people give him credit for. Really good played IMO and I would be happy to see him play as our number 9 for the foreseeable future! Agree with you Bax. He's got good skills and plenty of self confidence. Saw on twitter that a number of clubs are looking at signing him! WBA, Villa and Watford were named...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vkAALg4vc41.22 mins Bale nearly gets a yellow card because of an heavy touch from Hal. I really believe Hal did the fullback on that freekick that we got the goal from with a nice little Cruyff turn. Belgians were calling a foul, but he did him. He´s not far off where we need him to be

Apparently Reading have turned down two bids from Swansea for HRK, with them holding out for £4 million - with one year left on his contract. I hadn't heard anything about this until today - a big surprise. If he joined the Swans he would probably join more as a winger than a striker - but I can't see he would feature much. I'm surprised quite frankly - but Monk does favour physical players. His philosophy is much more Mourinho than Guardiola - so don't expect any bids for Jonny Williams any time soon.

Wow, that has surprised me a lot! Not a player I thought Swansea City would bid for. Could improve him though. Jonny Williams and James Chester seem like perfect players for the Swans, but Williams' injuries have held him back.

Great Guardian piece, nice to see Barry Horns get a mention.
Love this bit too "I think, in the past, getting called up and going to squads was a bit of a chore, but now it’s an absolute honour" been one of the biggest differences this campaign imo.

Great performance today, he looks in really good shape. Skilful on the ball and delivered some dangerous crosses, should have scored at the end though.

I just can't see this happening. He's about as un-Swansea player as you can get. Poor touch and unsuited to any sort of possession game.

Think it's a case of the press thinking Swansea are a Welsh club and need a striker. Hal plays in that position for Wales and is on a free therefore must be a candidate. Lazy journalism?

Aston Villa interested apparently. Good move? Only if they stay up I would say.

I think he should just stay at Reading. Now Blackman's cleared off to Derby, he's finding more space to score goals and make runs. McDermott's now the manager again and under him he was a machine and he seems to be finding that form again.

'The 30-year-old is out of contract at Championship Reading, who had scheduled talks at the end of the season'
Nice one.
