training with liverpool first team, recently signed a new deal and has been a regular with their u23s. a lot of potential in this lad, possibly a future star for club and country like his uncle before him (ian rush).

Considering the way the last few Welsh prospects have been managed at Liverpool, Beck would be best served getting out of there asap.

Read something yesterday saying it's looking like he will stay, but seems like he wants to be backup for both RB & LB. Not sure how that works with Tsimikas or Davies also being there, perhaps there just wasn't the interest from Premier League clubs as he expected? |

Andy Robertson got injured a few days ago - Beck replaced him and put in a really strong performance with the Twitterati raving about him. He came on again for 20mins tonight and impressed. Appears to be very highly thought of within the academy, just 18 and was in their 25 man squad during pre season.
Also, really nice to hear that Woodburn has featured a lot this pre season and really impressed, particularly in tonight's game where he played 60mins mostly as one of a three-man midfield. Given his lack of pace and excellent technique, that might be the position for him. He's trending on twitter with liverpool fans raving about him. He just needs to secure an injury-free loan in the championship and things could kick off for him very quickly, but I doubt a championship club will take him on given his previous loan spells...

I think Tsimikas will deputise in Robertson's absence. Beck could get minutes in the cup but no more
I think Woodburn moving to midfield is a good thing for his development. Technique is his strength & he doesn't have the speed of a winger. Hope his next move is his best one
