really hope he can get a good move to championship club (i'm sure there will be a few in for him) and get regular game time. i know he is still very young, but i dont think going down a league is the best option. I'd be surprised if he's at Birmingham next season

Atalanta and Fiorentina were in for him in January. Hopefully they retain their interest and go back for him in the summer.

I suppose it is all subjective, do club team managers see the same as we initially did at international level.
I know I will get called out for this but the last couple of appearances for Wales he looked off the pace and devoid of ideas.

I'd be surprised if he's at Birmingham next season Surely too good for League 1 Depends what his contract is like. If he's on low-ish wages and has a good few years to run then he might be staying put. I hope he secures a move to a Championship club or maybe even abroad.

I'm guessing somewhere like Coventry, West Brom or whoever else from the play offs who don't go up will be looking at him, I'd love him to join Cardiff but I just don't see that happening. Too early yet for a Premier League move, we want him to continue to play week in, week out, it's no good him joining Bournemouth or someone and sitting on the bench. This said, I'd rather him stay at Birmingham than join someone like Sunderland or Stoke.

I'd love him at Cardiff, based purely on his Wales performances he's a real step up on what we have in the middle Suppose it depends how much Birmingham want. And as highly as we rate him, he is part of a relegated side which may put some people off

Obviously wouldn't be able to afford him but he'd be a pretty good Barkley replacement.

Needs a decent solid Championship club to come in for him and give him regular game time. Premier League is too early for him

Like many of the Welsh squad who need to be playing regular club football for their and Wales' benefit, James should move to a club where he's a first choice , as he's certainly capable of attracting the top Championship clubs.

His dad Tony is an ex pro, he will hopefully guide Jordan into making the best decision for himself, just he has looked after him all his career, let's hope whoever Jordan goes to he gets lots of gametime and gets looked after as he is vital to the future.

Lopetegui not keen on Ward-Prowse apparently. Might be looking at JJ as a replacement.

Interest from Ipswich, Leeds, Newcastle and Southampton according to the Yorkshire Evening Post. That's a diverse geographical spread for a Welshman based in the Midlands!

Surprised James has not found a club yet. doesn't bode well that our young exciting breakthrough midfielder could be playing in league 1 next season.
for me he's prem quality but as welsh fans are we looking through rose tinted specs? I'd love to see him at swansea, would be the best player on the pitch.

I don't think he is premier League quality yet at least not consistently, needs to try and get another team in the championship as an established starter otherwise I can just see him sitting on a premier league bench and that would be disaster at this stage for him.

Priced out of the championship unless it's the top clubs and not quite premier league quality yet.
I could see him staying. Birmingham are bank rolled, he's an important player for them going straight back up. So there probably happy to bide their time and wait for a silly offer. Unless he wants out

Real shame the move to Atalana didn't happen in January. Looks like that ship has probably sailed now.
Wish he'd be more ruthless and force his way out. It'll be really disappointing if he's stuck playing League One football this season.

I'm glad he's not the type to put his parts on and force a move, if he carries on as he is and stays focused he'll be fine in the long run.

He's been brought up well, his dad is a top bloke, I'm hoping that he goes to a top championship team or a middle to bottom PL team, jordan need to play regularly for himself and for Wales.
