Is there a good taxi app in Split? I find taxi etiquette varies from place to place… I just googled taxi from split airport and used transfer Croatia. The correspondence uptil now has been fantastic. |

I might of taken you up on that but we don't land until about 3.30. Just spent spent 5 days in Morocco and the taxis there are mad. I think the ones in Cassablanca have left me with PTSD, thats as much the driving as negotiating a fare, Ross Kemp could make one of his extreme places documentary out of them. That said it would be a cracking place for an away friendly. Different world and just 3 hours away. |

Been looking into Taxi's from the airport to our hotel which is approximately in the centre of the town (40mins away) and comparing the prices of Uber, local firms and booking.com the prices vary around £30-40.
My wife and I are arriving in Split from Stuttgart on Thursday at 14:20 if anyone is interested in splitting (pun intended) the fare with us?

Really liking Split. Much more real / authentic and genuinely likeable than what Dubrovnik was.
I can't even imagine Dubrovnik during the summer season - but even without the tourists, it felt more like Disneyland / fake Qatari sheikh's fantasy...

Currently on the Flixbus from Dubrovnik to Split. Tip top for 14 Euros, charging points, wifi and a bog. Had 2 pit stops, one with time for a beer, so far.
It takes the coast road all the way, which is apparently very scenic. At night, not so much.
A 4.5 hour trip, arriving at 22:40. Hopefully there’s still a few hours of drinking time to be had.

Just a little reminder for those on the 12.05 flight from frankfurt to split tomorrow, we have 2 spaces spare on the speedboat taxi I've booked to split marina, right next to the ambassador hotel we collect the match tickets from.

So our flight from Munich to Heathrow was cancelled but our flight from Split to Munich wasn’t What we have done tonight is bought train tickets from Munich to Zurich and a flight home from Zurich to Heathrow. Nightmare but it’s better than a weekend on the piss in London 😂 |

Booked on tomorrow instead, trying to sort digs and fiod out, we are absolutely gutted.
