I'd love us to be drawn with Germany / Portugal Albania / Austria Czechs / Slovaks ...
BEING THE SUPER PRAGMATIC TRAVELLER THAT I AM ...
GROUP D gets 2 games in Berlin and 1 in Hamburg, Leipzig and Dusseldorf - with loads of cheap digs and travel options. I also wouldn't mind group A - Germany's group in Cologne / Stuttgart ;-)
Better avoiding group C that centres in Munich, Gelsenkirchen and Frankfurt - which will really stretch the budget '-( Gelsenkirchen and Munich are by far and away the dearest host cities.

I favour the groups with games in the west as can drive from calais easily.
Also not sure anyone would need to stay in Gelsenkirchen with so many other cities within close reach.

"How does the EURO 2024 draw work?
A further six pots (A, B, C, D, E, F) are required to draw the respective team’s position in each group. Pots B-F contain four balls each to represent the positions available in each group (eg B1, B2, B3 and B4). Pot A contains only three balls for the positions A2, A3 and A4 in Group A, since Germany will occupy position A1."

They draw from each pot and assign every team a draw number within the group. It’s to mix up the games. We’ve been pot 4 in our recent major 3 tournaments. Euro 2016 we were B3. Euro 2020 we were A3. World Cup we were B4. Germany will be A1, but all the rest will be mixed up. |

Would be fun to play one of them should we get there. It looks to be shaping up to be an interesting draw with dangerous teams in each pot. You could end up with France, Denmark, Netherlands and Italy all in the same group! International football really is great, can't wait for the Euros and hopefully we'll be there! |

Really struggled to get past Israel and Belarus and were lucky v the Swiss. |

Germany, Romania and Slovenia. Not faced any of them in so long. Might as well enjoy it if we get there.
I think we'll definitely get England if we qualify. They love drawing us together in tournaments. If we aren't potentially in England's group I'm betting Poland qualify.

Incredible that we haven't played France in a competitive game! Especially considering we're never in the same pot as them for a draw you'd have thought we'd have played them at least once I had a brief look through the qualifying groups an we always seem to get Belgium or someone from Eastern Europe! Thinking about we've played Finland a fair bit as well... |

That's a group we can get out of even with Page in charge Pointing out the obvious, if we do end up in that group it means that we will have progressed through the playoffs (again). Surely this "even with Page in charge" nonsense won't persist after he's led us to back-to-back qualification? Our fanbase has become ridiculously spoilt recently. |

Is anyone planning to take the plunge in and book anything from Saturday evening or is that too much like tempting fate. I may just look at some hotels for the nights of the group games if there are any cancellation deals available. There'll be nothing left come the end of March.
