Only tuned in before half time, and Goergia look the most comfortable side. Shows what can be achieved by having a decent management team.
Too think we were outplayed by Turkey for a match and a half last year.........

I didn't think Turkey were good when we played them, we were rubbish away from home but they still looked nervous and it was awfully cruel decision to give them a penalty in the reverse, but am a little surprised by how decent Georgia look.
International football is very different when having 2+ weeks to prepare and everyone is motivated. That's the difference, right?

That goal for Arda Guler is mental. Why don't we have anyone who can hit a ball like that?

Got nothing against the young turks on the field. Good luck to them and what a great goal. Their so-called "fans" are a steamy pile of pig's Sh... that have no place in a football stadium. Ever. Anywhere.

Have to say, after watching all the games, including Turkey/Georgia now , we would have struggled in this tournament under Page. However some great goals being scored from distance as I mentioned previously, Kvaratskhelia was expected to do well but has been poor for Georgia.

Even when I am being a little negative I am not negative enough for some people!! However, however the point I was trying to make was that almost all international teams look better with proper preparation/motivation...and that it's been a little while since we looked as good as most of the teams at this tournament so far.

Nope, you haven't quite reached the negative depths of some of us! Ha. I agree though, most teams Ive watched so far seem more prepared than us when comparing with Euro 2020 and WC 2022. Sadly I feel a lot of it is to do with motivation. Some of these players are running out of their skins, and I haven't had that feeling from us for a long time.

Sadly I feel a lot of it is to do with motivation. Some of these players are running out of their skins, and I haven't had that feeling from us for a long time. Scotland looked terrible in their first game this tournament but they have so many injuries and players out of form. I really don't think it's been motivation for them or us. I think Morrell got exposed a bit against Denmark and hasn't been as effective since, but take away Morrell and we suddenly looked very vulnerable at base of the midfield, at least until JJ turned up. Giggs saw it coming and tried desperately to get Smith and Levitt up to speed but it hasn't happened yet. The players desperately care though. I don't want to suggest right mindset cannot overcome vulnerability mainly because we are a tiny nation who constantly punches above our weight. But maybe we have recently relied too much on players out of form/injured or otherwise young players who haven't yet picked up the mantle yet? Our hwyl brings up to speed, or close to it, but yes, something missing at the moment.

Speaking of motivation just watched Steve Clarke’s interview before Scotlands match tomorrow. Wow, he couldn’t have demonstrated much less energy and enthusiasm - even Lineker made a sarcastic comment about it. If he’s like that in the changing room Scotland are done.

International football is very different when having 2+ weeks to prepare and everyone is motivated. That's the difference, right? Marmardashvili - Valencia Kvaratshkelia - Napoli Mikautadze - Metz That's 3 players who are regular top flight players. The rest of their squad either plays for 2nd division sides, or other Euro top flight leagues e.g Greece, Poland. On paper they are decent. They're basically a better Armenia. I think we'd struggle against them, but I've thought that about nearly every team I've watched at this tournament

Albania naivety blowing it. Croatia getting that 98 minute chance was nuts! Shouldn’t have happened. I’m glad Albania kept that out. Naive and cruel if it had gone in.
