If like us, anyone else is booked on the Ryanair match-day, Monday morning flight, Stansted to Podgorica, it’s been rescheduled. Only by 90 mins, but in the email notifying us, they offered us a swap to the preceding day’s flight.
I’d only booked the less than ideal Monday morning flight, because our preferred Saturday flight was a crazy £250 each, one way. We got the Monday morning one for £45 each. No Ryanair flight to Podgorica on the Sunday, so asked to be changed to the Saturday one, still showing now @ £250 each, all done, free of charge.
Result.

It is the middle of the summer, probably about 30°C no wonder it doesn't look good. I'm certain by Sept it will be ok, all I am bothered about is the faw getting enough tickets, that is more worrying. But anyway, I am looking forward 2 our trip to Montenegro even if I can't get a ticket.

Any idea when tickets will be on sale? I hope we get a couple of thousand. I am on 4 of the last 10 aways, (also 2 in the home seats, which don’t count). It’s going to be touch and go whether I get a ticket .

Faw sending someone out there next week to assess the pitch. They have no money to maintain the ground. So maybe late next week on the ticket information. Or maybe even a change of venue.

That's not good. Clearly we cant play on pitch that's not safe but the alternative stadiums will provide half the already inadequate allocation. The best alternative has a seated capacity of 6500 and possibly only 300 ish Welsh fans getting tickets. Fingers crossed its ok.

Doesn’t really help anyone tbh. Macsen from the FAW quickly confirmed its nonsense. Sooner the FAW can actually assess the pitch would be helpful though.

Perhaps we could send pensioners winter fuel allowance to them to restore the pitch!

Hearing as things stand that game is likely to go ahead but back up options are alternative venue in the city behind closed doors due to not meeting UEFA criteria or Red Star’s stadium in Belgrade.

Anybody know if there is a chance of getting a ticket for this. Not been away with Wales football before but fancy a holiday in the area and watch the match. Tried an email to Montenegro FA but not had a reply.

Tried an email to Montenegro FA but not had a reply. It’s difficult to say for this one tbh. England only got the minimum of around 600 tickets when they went in 2019 but obviously more people in Montenegro would want to see England than us. If we got around 1500 you might be alright but I think anything less than 1000 and I’d say you’ll struggle on 0 aways. Keep an eye on here and the FAW website, ticket information should be out soon. Worth travelling over even if you don’t get a ticket, that’s what a lot of people do anyway. The match is only 2 hours of the trip and often the worst part of it. You may get someone selling over there too but I wouldn’t bank on it.

Corky put on Facebook that they are doing another site visit next week. Like I said in an earlier post, the away enclosure holds 2k fans so hope we get a good chunk of that.
Tickets in these countries are so obscenely cheap, I often wish they would push the price up to closer to what we pay here and use us as cash cows (not a popular opinion I know). They could really benefit financially from our visit given the numbers interested in travelling.

Does this sound right in terms of the likely criteria (well, eligible matches)?
Last 9 away matches: Slovakia v Cymru 09.06.2024 Gibraltar v Cymru 06.06.2024 Armenia v Cymru 18.11.2023 Latvia v Cymru 11.09.23 Türkiye v Cymru 19.06.23 Croatia v Cymru 25.03.23 Belgium v Cymru 22.09.22 Netherlands v Cymru 14.06.22 Poland v Cymru 01.06.22
Just trying to check how far it goes back and if I've missed any. With the above I'd be on five (but if I've missed any off the list then Poland would drop off, so down to four, Netherlands would mean down to three).

They included Czech Republic and Estonia for the Gibraltar/Slovakia games so at most it’ll be 11.

Thank you for the advice Super Unknown. Sounds like it is unknown at the moment as dependent on the allocation. Will try alternative means with some FAW sponsors to see if they can assist. 👍

They could really benefit financially from our visit given the numbers interested in travelling. The ends both hold around 2500 within which the South End has a segregated away section of around 600. As I see it they will either give us 600 or the whole end with no compromise. So its gona be either very good news or very bad news. We do need to put over our best case for the maximum available tickets but there's unlikely to be much pragmatism from Montenegro. I doubt they'll care much that the grounds half empty with more Welsh in the Bars than the ground. Fingers crossed.

Why do the FAW always leave it until the last minute ? It’s a shambles. An insult to the Wales fans who spend a fortune on flights, hotels, airport parking etc, in the hope that they get tickets for the game. Have the FAW no shame ?

It is BC, I am in stage 3 so hopeful of getting a ticket, tbh if I don't I will still have a good time as we have planned to stay in budva and it should be hot and a lovely place to go.

That’s unfortunate. Was hoping we’d get more. I scrape into stage 1, missus is in stage 2 so hopefully will be ok but was hoping we’d get the full stand.
