Thanks for the heads up. I think that you got the link wrong and you meant this brand new link from an ahour ago: Definitely: Montenegro will welcome Wales in Nikšić "What we reported on Sunday is now official - the match of the second round of the League of Nations between Montenegro and Wales will be played in Nikšić [...] The western tribune has about 3,200 seats, and the eastern one about 2,000."
Hvala manulike! Here are some useful phrases for you: www.montenegro.travel/en/plan-your-stay-in-montenegro/useful-tips-and-facts/montenegrin-dictionaryThanks. That looks almost identical to Serbo-Croat to me. Dead easy, if you got some basic Russian ;-)

eSim Update
Just another update, especially if anyone is now using Bosnia or Kosovo as flight options ...
I found what apears to be a decent Hong Kong supplier that covers the entire 12 Balkans countries. Its €8 for 3gb for 15-days - www.microesim.com - also use code "ESIMDB" for $1 OFF

Are people staying in their original accommodation location or thinking of moving to Niksic? We were staying in Podgorica despite no tickets, but thinking where will the fans be now especially only 700 will have tickets? We are staying in budva for the sat and sun and travelling to niksic for the monday night instead of staying in podgorica. I wouldn't bother going to Niksic without tickets. Looks a pretty dull place. Podgorica at least looks like its got a lively run of bars although if I was you I'd be staying in Budva.

Nothing is easy.
Gonna stick and stay in Podgorica and travel somehow on the day of the match. I think Wonky are polling for numbers to arrange a bus. It SHOULD be free, can't see why we have to fork out again. Fully expect it won't!
Gonna be a strange vibe this one I think, all spread out across different towns.

Can see a few just sacking this off altogether now if they don’t have tickets and maybe trying their luck with Iceland instead. Gonna get a train there on the day I think and hopefully jump on an FAW/Wonky bus back.

Travel there is easy enough but there is no transport back to Podgorica after the game so FAW should organise something for the fans not already signed up with Wonky or Leigh James

FAW now confirming this.
"The Football Association of Wales acknowledges the inconvenience that this announcement will have on Cymru’s travelling fans, who have already planned for Podgorica.
Therefore, the FAW is currently in discussions with UEFA and the Football Association of Montenegro to limit the disruption caused by this late announcement to the Cymru National Team and The Red Wall.
The FAW will provide an update when further information is confirmed."

I really fancied this trip, but it was all a bit of a tight timetable travelwise anyway, so with no ticket, and the change of location making travel more of an issue, I'm fairly sure I'll just take the loss (which is a couple of hundred) and knock it on the head. Just holding off a minute in case by some miracle they release extra tickets. Which I accept they won't, but I don't want to be hasty.

The FAW website says they are talking to UEFA and the Montenegro FA about minimising the disuption to fans. I’m taking that as code providing buses. Meanwhile Wonky are asking for expressions of interest in a bus.

Do you think the Montenegro authorities or anybody else for that matter have any idea of how many are travelling without tickets. Its a security nightmare for their very small police force. They had one location and the surrounding bars to keep safe and secure. They've probably now got 3 as lots will stay in Podgorica with sizable minority staying in Budva.

Same here, but as our hotel in Niksic can be cancelled up until 2pm on match-day, I’m going to hang on a while before deciding. See what happens with potential return coach travel from Podgorica. The highly unlikely chance of getting (or even wanting) a ticket in the home end, given the already half-cocked “organisation” suggests that it may not be the best managed event ever. They’ve had 8 months since the draw to sort some turf out, buy a hose pipe and a roller and failed miserably. Now they’re going to transform total chaos into an organisational masterpiece, at an unproven, currently non-compliant venue, in a fortnight ! A few UEFA blazers must be hanging on a loose nail, pending a successful outcome. Thinking about the challenge sorting enough coaches might give, laying on a train back to Podgorica after the match might be an easier fix.

Thanks. That looks almost identical to Serbo-Croat to me. Dead easy, if you got some basic Russian ;-) Montenegrin is Serbo Croat but they like to claim the language as Montenegrin. Obviously there will be a few regional differences (like North and South Wales) but essentially it is what was spoken across the former Jugoslavia and all the people be they from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia etc fully understand each other.

I know I probably don't take much notice of other teams but Wales do appear to suffer a lot of mither on away trips compared to other teams.
Belgrade, the bloke getting shot meaning the game was postponed at short notice.
Bilbao, the game being changed from Saturday night to Sunday night at the last minute so those who had booked Sunday flights home never got to see the game.
Now this nonsense.
I am sure there are other examples that other people will recall.

Yes, what a great trip, I booked to Zagreb but then changed when they announced osijek, had a great laugh, met some Croatian boys who I still keep in touch with.

Hi dragonsoccer Any news from the FAW yet about NEW schedule for ticket collection? Currently, match-day 2pm-6.30pm Kings Park Hotel, Podgorica. Will there be a Podgorica and a Niksic collection? I assume that the FAW had the sense to book that hotel with a free cancellation ;-))

As much of a shambles the whole thing has been just send the tickets out in the post. Only stage 1 and 2 got tickets there be nobody harvesting tickets they will all be going.

It's an absolute joke. Faw. Montenegro FA. Both as bad as each other. The least the FAW could do now is demand half of the 2000 seat stand, and also lay buses on for fans stranded in Podgorica. It they do t give a f&*k. It's got worse these last few years.
