If that’s the case then I bow to your knowledge and that’s a very good example you’ve come up with! Although given how football has changed since then hopefully someone has a more recent example to help change my mind…. I mean isn't Harry Wilson a great example of a player who dropped down a level to get experience before becoming top-class which he is now? Had he played much for Wales and not looked very good before dropping down? That’s my point, it’s less about droppibn down a level and more about not looking great in a Wales shirt, then dropping a level, hitting form and *then-* coming back into the fold and then looking “up to” international level. I don’t think there were any doubts that Wilson would be a good player for Wales |

Seems similar to last game,they start to press us further up the pitch and we start to look ragged and under a bit of pressure, hopefully start to get a foothold in this half

great effort should be 1-1 To be fair, shots against the woodwork aren’t counted as shots on target, officially. So I think it’s wide of the mark when people (in the nicest possible way) argue them as reasons for a different scoreline |

Whilst understandable for a scratch side the lack of co-ordination up front is frustrating. Two great chances to put the game to bed results in a combination of slow reactions and players getting in each others way.

Think it was generally assumed he was going to be destined to plying his trade in the lower leagues, he's become arguably our best player. |

My recollection is that he was hyped up (as we do!) whilst at Liverpool and wasn’t out of place at international level. But my recollection has been proven to be poor previously so I accept your example! |
