Thing is I guess that Bellamy has shown faith in a wide circle of players so presumably thought that Cullen could do an adequate job. (Which he did to be fair). Bellamy's made what 7 and 5 changes before match 2 in the previous double headers so appears to value fresh legs for the way he wants to play I guess. Think we will see Joe v Iceland and could well be as a sub but we need to get in front against them and Allen's quality could be crucial from the outset in that respect. In Craig we trust

Heard the Carnyx before, its a proper spooky, creepy sound. Not keen about the Barry Horns being involved though…

Word of warning anyone going from West tonight. Collision on the M4 Eastbound outside Swansea, road could be closed for sometime apparently. Sods law something would happen on that road on game day, however it's mental how many RTC's are occurring between Swansea and Carmarthen these days.

Can’t even get the basics right like putting lights on at dusk or knowing when a road goes from 50 to national. There was a crash two weeks ago where an elderly man drove nearly all the way from Pont Abraham to Cross Hands, travelling on the Eastbound side. Absolute chaos. Two fatalities from that crash. My mother in law was also involved in another fatal collision between Cross Hands and Carmarthen 6 weeks ago. It's a worrying trend. But anyway, hope the road clears up by the afternoon.

Do the FAW still have a stand selling merch outside the stadium? Haven't been to any of the Nations League home games this year. Need a bobble hat in these wintery conditions.

Come on, he's taking about a general trend, not individual mistakes. I agree with jbt95. It scares me a bit that the standard of driving in the UK is very high compared to a lot of the world, yet it's still very low. The issues mentioned above, as well as cutting corners at junctions (on small roads, meaning you move diagonally across instead of straight across, meaning you're on the wrong side of the road for longer); refusing to use both lanes in congestion (and instead stupidly queuing in one lane, leading the tailback to double in size and block junctions further down - also compounding the problem by not allowing those that DO use both lanes to merge at the end); constantly using brakes to slow down and to drive downhill instead of moving to a lower gear; complete intolerance of other drivers and the instant assumption that everyone who makes a mistake is an idiot; no awareness as to when it's better for traffic flow to allow traffic in or move on to take yourself out of the situation; abysmal (and selfish) parking; driving too slow; driving too fast; not using indicators; lacking the simple awareness that you're part of a system, and have a responsibility to keep that system working and flowing. These are all trends, not mistakes. I really do believe that the driving test is far to easy to pass, and we're really not taught the implications and responsibility of being in charge of such a dangerous machine. There's a tangent for you... 4-0 Cymru !

I agree with you totally, there are some really bad drivers with bad habits but my point is JB is always picking at people, I am 99% sure that he has bad habits, but he thinks he's perfect. I know I am a good driver as I drive emergency vehicles and I have been trained to keep high standards, i have seen some horrendous sights on roads so i have a good idea what i am talking about but I will NEVER say that I am a perfect driver. Now there's a tangent for you mate 😉 Wales 3 - 1 Iceland.

Do people expect any left-field choices tonight? A start for Colwill or RND maybe? There’s only 5 players in the squad who haven’t started yet - those two, DJ, Allen and Da Silva

Not sure about that, felt the same before Montenegro home and that turned out ok, but just feels like we’re lacking too much quality in that starting eleven. Again, difficult to know whether this is more experimentation, or something we can expect in every double header under Bellamy. I’m starting to feel concerned that he might be a bit too data-driven if he feels this number of changes will be needed every time. Let’s see what Cullen can do against a better opposition than the last time he started. I’m skeptical…

Why 2 keepers on the bench again?

I guess it's a notional 4-3-3, although I can't remember Cullen ever playing that deep in his career.
It's unlikely, but could this be a 5-3-2 setup, with James and Williams as wing backs and Cullen and Harris up front? Then again that would mean Johnson would be in a central 3, which again would be novel.
Whichever way we line up there will be players in unfamiliar roles. Vive la revolution!

BBC sport have suggested a 4-2-3-1 with Wilson alongside Sheehan and Cullen as a 10. Could well be. A big risk, because that twin pivot role requires a lot of positional judgement that can only come from experience.
Bellamy is likely to come out of this as an inspired genius or a prize chump. I think the former is the more likely but I'm not 100% sure...

I know JJ has not played much but wtf?

How about a 4-1-2-3, with an extreme high press? Cullen and Wilson behind James, Harris and Johnson. Now that would be bold!

It might seem interesting but Cullen, Harris and Sheehan are bargain basement players. You should dip in when you need to because it is quite clear they are miles off international standard.
I do not like playing them all together, especially given there are some better players on the bench. I hope this works out but it seems a bit eccentric

Dan James and Brennan instead of Dai Brooks and Burns. Net improvement I'd say.I guess we're not party to who's fresh, who's got niggles etc. Hopefully we'll come up trumps again.
