Anyone on Tyler watch?
I'm busy admiring Tom Bradshaw ... not really ...

Getting a lot of praise on twitter for his performance, as he has in his other recent performances. Could be the one to come in for Bale if he is injured.

If you watch Leeds' previous game on EFL on Quest you'll see that he had a terrific game. As well as a coolly despatched goal, he could easily have had a couple of assists.

Tyler played 30' last week and another 35' today. Good to see him back from his Winter injury. With Brooks and Woodburn still out, we should certainly play him again in March. Ahead of Rabbi, IMHO
UPDATE
Looks like I have jinxed it ;-( Left the stadium on crutches and is not available for tomorrow's game...
"He took a strong kick. It was incredible after this kick that he continued in the match. He proved that he's really engaged with the team and was a really brave player to continue with the team.
"It's a kick in the calf but he's not injured. It's just a big kick."

Only a 30 minute cameo, but TWO GREAT GOALS ;-) First was a fantastic team move and a cross goal shot. Second was a superb diving header from 12 yards aout.

It is so frustrating watching the amount of injuries our young players are picking up which keeps stalling their development
You can only imagine how good players like Tyler and Brooks (towards elite) would be if they did not keep having lay offs. Mepham and Rodon can't put 10 games together without getting crooked either!
Maybe every team suffers nowadayd but its even the same with our senior players - Bale is either totally crooked or can't be bothered and Ramsey seems to miss more than he is available for.

Starts against Cardiff live on Sky at 1200 Vaulks starts for us. Huge year for the players on the fringes of the squad. Good season and their probably in. Not so good or injured or just not playing much and they're less likely to make it. Leeds will be in the prem next season, it would be really good if Tyler Roberts can make at that level. Hope he has a quiet day today though.

Biggest compliment I can give Tyler is that I only noticed that Bamford was on the pitch, when he stopped Roberts' ball from going in ... Had another couple of decent chances including a (quiet) shout for a pen.
That said, William has been fantastic in blue.

I thought Tyler looked a handful, but Patrick Bamford is a donkey.

Thought he did well tbf. Leeds played well, just the 2 individual mistakes leading to goals let them down. Tyler would've had an assist if it were not for Bamford’s block.
He drives very well with the ball and has a decent shot on him. Only 21 years old as well. I think he’s underrated amongst our fanbase tbh, one of our better youngsters imo. He’s had a stop/start Leeds career with injuries, I’m sure if he can get a run in the team his class will show. Unfortunately Bielsa is rigid in his set-up.

Leeds fans tend to rave about him - and they've definitely seen more of him than I have. Thought he did well today for a first game back. I think if he goes up a level with Leeds and plays in the Premier League next season he could really stake a claim for being a backup 10 to Ramsey in our squad.
I don't judge him based on his appearances for Cymru, where he has tended just to have 20 minute cameos, and starts in games where the whole team hasn't played well.

Starting again. Jumped so high in the air to allow Bamford to smash the ball in, under his feet. If Bamford would have considered doing that these last two weeks, Tyler would have had two more goals ;-)

Hope our Ryan actually sees this game and doesn't only look at the stats. Tyler had a major part in turning the game around in the second half. Bielse certainly showed who he trusts more, taking Bamford off at half time!

With some experience I think he's going to be really valuable to us. Playing a Firminho or a Benzema kind of role, using his football intelligence to bring others into the game.
I'm glad he's working under Bielsa!
He's another player that might benefit from the euros being postponed.

I'm glad he's working under Bielsa! He's another player that might benefit from the euros being postponed. Definitely agree! The fact that he's playing under Bielsa is huge. Plus next season he's now very likely to be a starter for them in the Premier League - could be massive for us. He may well even become a viable option instead of Moore for us up front with a full Premier League season under his belt

I've said it several times before, he has all the physical and technical attributes needed to be a really good player. My concern when watching him for the seniors and u21s was that he didn't seem to know how to use those attributes - he'd often try to do it all himself and struggle with his decision-making. If he can sort that side out, he can be a key player for us.

Had another decent game, again. Plenty of effort and 3 or 4 shots on target, but things just didn't work out for him.
Still. Good to see that his confidence is still high and he certainly does constantly look for the ball and call for it
