That quote was from Bielsa himself. Given Leeds' lack of options due to injuries Roberts should get more opportunities until the end of the month.

It's good to hear that the Manager clearly has faith in him and sees something in him, not immediately obvious to the average fan or the media. Hopeful he will now be involved in the Preston game this week.

A lovely little dink according to Radio 5Live.
Get in there.
That should boost his confidence.
Edit: According to the text on BBC Tyler has had one shot blocked and another saved, and put 2 good balls through for team mates only for one to be caught offside.

Fantastic! What a couple of weeks for the lad. Would love to see Tyler give Bielsa a headache when all of Leeds' strikers return to fitness.

Imagine if this club were to be promoted next season and Tyler were to continue to shine for them. A more established PL club could come knocking. The lad's only 19. Surely, there's more to come from him.

Maybe, just maybe he could become the striker we need.
A long way to go but what a great start

He has shown that he has the raw attributes needed (pace, strength, off-the-ball running, technique) and the potential to become a good striker, but there's a long way to go. He was getting slated again until he scored the first one. He still has a couple of strikers ahead of him and a couple of apparently very promising youngsters behind him, so there's still a lot for him to prove.

Roofe is probably the best all round striker in the championship but Bielsa won't care about that; if Tyler's got the shirt and plays like he did last night he keeps it - that's the way he works. The young teenage strikers; Edmonson, Clarke and Dalby are all a bit special but very raw.

Surely, there's more to come from him. Definitely more to come, he'll only improve under Bielsa - "A more established club" ?? If Leeds get back in the Prem, there are few places to go that would present any better or bigger opportunities for a young player and unless he goes to City and plays for Pep, no better Manager anywhere.

One of our strikers scoring a brace at championship level and top of the league to boot. If he carries on like this he'll be knocking on the door for a starting place in our first XI. However when Roofe and Bamford come back I fear he will be benched immediately. Sounds unfair but that's the reality I'm afraid.

Leeds struggling against Birmingham City today. Tyler had a couple of chances but has been unlucky unfortunately.

Don't agree regarding Bamford - If (and its a big if) Roberts keeps knocking them in and Leeds are close to the top why would you bench him immediately.? Bamford has cost a lot of money which I guess means you are more obliged to use him - but if Roberts is on fire why drop him. ?
