Fantastic pass from James for the goal, brilliant finish from Fishlock. We needed that as we were mostly poor. Holland and Rowe in particular have been very poor. James and Morgan have played well.

Why don't some of our players take a more direct route. Woodham - twice she has wasted corner kick situations. Rowe needs to get herself playing in a higher division again as she is making to many wrong decisions / too rushed at key points. Then why or why are players not confident when they have a sniff of goal - so many efforts are half hearted
We simply will be mediocre without Fishlock - I hope she stays on as we need her so badly. How is it possible to be that good at her age - incredible

Cannot find a simple forward ball, taking wrong options and not being able to hit a barn door
Look at how many goals Ireland have scored in 2 match
Unless Fishlock is the one getting the chance you expect us to miss

20 mins is a long time in football so I think we have time to be more patient.
10 mins feels like a short period of time, so 10 mins of pushing it too much and getting nowhere probably does us no favours.
1st offside goal was tad disappointing because it was offside in the build-up (could the offside player have left it for another player?) then an extremely bit of tidy football in 30 secs of play after to lead to the "goal".

We had two excellent corners towards end of the first half but the next one we went short (it didn't work) and since then standards of set pieces have dipped.
Ceri Holland has had an excellent game but that was really poor decision and effort.

Lost our way now tiredness has kicked in. Had ample opportunities to win it early in the second half. Wilkinson’s game plan has been excellent, a serious lack of composure by a number of players has scuppered it

Reckon we’ll end up throwing this away. Intensity has completely gone. Passing is poor. Game has gone quite ragged which suits Slovakia.

This is looking like a tough ET. Lost our momentum. Passes going astray now and Slovakia looking stronger. We are still capable of winning this with some composure in front of goal. I’m not fancying penalties.

It's just a little bit more composure that we need.
No one needs to do it a single player, fatigue kicking in so play balls which are a little kinder to receive and build pressure/momentum again.

Substitutions haven’t helped tbh. Mcateer isnt ready for this level - by what I’ve seen. Kayleigh Barton looks like she runs through mud.
I think, despite who she is, Fishlock should have come off around 75mins. Looks knackered.
On Barton, she just played two awful passes within 40 seconds.
