Seemed innocuous at the time (looked as if he had cramp in the beginning), he didn't have that much to do in the game. Must have been very painful though judging by his demeanour afterwards. |

I'd be happy for Wayne, but I think that would be him done as a keeper for us. The FAW would want him to get to 100 caps so he will get friendlies to get over the line. But I can see someone like Dan Barden coming in very soon if he gets regular minutes in Scotland

It’s on Wales to find solutions to the problem, we’ve known it was coming. Sounds like Barden could be the main understudy to Ward but even then I’d be disappointed if Ward didn’t follow up on his Euros promotional capital by agitating for a move, if only on loan. |

As much as Wayne is a legend, I’d rather see younger blood in there if only for the experience for the time being. 1. Ward, 2. Davies 3. Barden (providing he gets regular game time as you suggest) isn’t too bad to be fair. I’m sure Wayne would answer the call whenever needed anyway. |

He'd be 2nd choice behind Pope now that Heaton has left, but Burnley have been churning out good goalkeepers recently - their coaching seems really good. Whoever has been stepping in for them always seems to do really well. Tbh I think Wayne has become our back up now & will just play friendlies until he hits 100 caps so can't blame him for wanting to stay in the Premier League pay packet |
