Gabbidon gave him MOTM and was looking like getting a hat trick before his injury. Hopefully it’s not too bad, he deserves more game time after that showing.

fingers crossed his injury isnt too bad... that really would be shocking luck. I thought he had a brilliant game on the weekend, and not just his goals (which were both brilliantly taken). He ran tirelessly, both in the channels and closing defenders down. he's not the biggest but jumped for everything and even won a few. And he used the ball well when in possession.

Out for three months, which is horrendous luck. Competition's only going to heat up for him when he comes back, with Morgan Whittaker and Jordan Morris joining (although Ayew may well be off in the summer).
He has signed a contract until 2024 though, so clearly in the long-term plans for the club and taking his chances against Forest certainly has helped his case.

Back on the bench today which is good to see. Thought initially that he'd be out for the season.

Scored with his only chance. Back post header from a Connor Roberts cross to earn the Swans a point.
I'm not sure if he'll be fit enough to start on Tuesday as Cooper said he only had 30 minutes or so in him for today but he'd have otherwise earned it in my opinion.

We will have to have a shocking bout of injuries for him to make the squad.

Reckon early next season we will see him overtake Matondo, HRK, T Lawrence and Johnson in the pecking order.

Reckon early next season we will see him overtake Matondo, HRK, T Lawrence and Johnson in the pecking order. Definitely going to be a regular in the Wales side soon, once he gets a few games under his belt with the swans, hes a natural goal scorer, if we don't go up those games will come thick and fast.

I think Matondo's position in the squad will definitely be up for debate. His club career is drifting and he hasn't been great in his appearances for us either. The likes of Cullen, Norton and Johnson will be next in line to get friendly game time in my books

Looks another decent prospect.
Don't think he will make the euros but has an outside chance

Looks another decent prospect. Don't think he will make the euros but has an outside chance Not a hope, there are at least half a dozen attacking players in front of him who have experience at international level. Picking some kid who has looked lively off the bench a few times isn’t going to happen.

Watched most of the game apart from the first 20mins. I don't think he took his chance. He couldn't make the ball stick whatsoever and Swansea really struggled in the first half because of it.
Cabango was a bit of a mixed bag. He was very clumsy again and could have given a penalty away after lunging clumsily in the box - he did win the ball, but not cleanly. I thought he was fairly decent on the ball though.
I think it's pretty clear that Cooper doesn't trust Roberts as a full back. After changing to a back 4, he's been on the bench or on the wing every time.

Swans fans - is Cullen currently starting up front on merit or have there been injuries?

Swans fans - is Cullen currently starting up front on merit or have there been injuries? Playing well. I know it's a long, longshot but could he be in the frame to make the Euros squad? Page does like a wildcard pick or 2.

Swansea didn't play well generally though... and it was always going to be a tricky game for Cullen to shine in. Lowe, Ayew (bar his goal obviously) both did very little, and the midfield was bypassed most of the game.

The main issue for him is he lacks both speed and strength. He's very easy to knock off the ball, and he doesn't have the pace to get past players. He relies more on intelligent movement and looks like a good finisher, but I'm not sure if he's good enough in that resect to make up for his physical limitations

Whittaker has gone to Lincoln from the swans... surprised they'd take 2 strikers from the same team.

Strange, I thought he had a decent season last year, scoring a few goals. As long as he plays, that's all that matters.

MARTIN obviously never rated him or Whittaker, lots of rumours that Cabango could go this month also. Five months of the season left, and if Martin doesn't turn it around asap they COULD be playing in L1 next season.

I meant its strange that 2 players from the same club, and similar positions, have been loaned out to the same club. cant recall that happening much before. but I take your point, I don't think Martin does fancy Cullen much. Lincoln lost on Saturday, but Liam got 80+ minutes. hopefully he'll grab a few goals over the next couple of months.

Cullen has had more opportunities than Whittaker to be fair. Not taken the opportunity though so hopefully a loan will help. Managers seem to rate him more than fans do.

Of what little I saw of Whittaker, he seemed a better prospect than Cullen. He 'cullen' always seemed a little frail when I'd see him warming up for his 10 minute cameos off the bench.
