Why was he not in the match day 23?
Yet both Da Silva & Huggins were? Two uncapped players who play the same position.
Weird and not right.

Would like to see Tom Lawrence included in the squad for the Po. No chance of that happening if Page is still in a job Wednesday morning though, is there??

Dasilva is there as left back cover and Huggins as right back, makes sense to me. Other than those 2 there were no other wing backs in the squad (and the starters obviously). I don't really see the point calling up Cullen tbh. He's regularly left out of the matchday squad and is clearly miles down the pecking list for those forward positions.

Cullen has his limitations, but I can guarantee you something. If he was on the pitch yesterday he would have tapped in the three or four balls that rolled through the Armenian area without one of our players being within a country mile. Tap ins are his bread and butter. Sometimes you just need a players who gets to the right place at the right time.

When our target man big Kieffer goes wide and plays in balls and nobody is making a run into the box. Happened a few times yesterday and has happened previously. He should be playing within the width of the D most of the time and within the width of the box all of the time.

Sorry but 2 full backs on the bench should be the the least of our worries when we have 3 in the starting XI and many wingers on the bench.

If Roberts/Neco go down injured then we need to bring on a wing back, makes sense to have cover on the bench for both sides Cullen wasn't going to come on ahead of Johnson, Bradshaw or Broadhead up top

Five goals in 34 games this season, three in his last nine. Does he do enough else on the pitch to deserve more of a chance for us? I think he's got to improve a bit more to get ahead of the others in the queue.

To be fair most of his appearances (in fact just about all) have been as a winger, which he most definitely is not. Excellent finishing skills, and decent linking ability. But not enough to seriously challenge for a place in the starting lineup.

Looks like he'll get a run as a CF under the new manager which is a huge opportunity for him.

Hope he proves me wrong and establishes himself as a Championship level striker I think he is a Championship level striker, at least good enough for the bench for a mid table club. But he doesn't have enough strings to his bow to make much of an impression at international level. I hope he proves me wrong.

when steve cooper was manager and andre ayew was there it was said that cullen was the best finisher at the club..
he hasnt had much opportunity to play as a main striker, lack of pace has been a negative.. i can remember a cup match at stevenage when he had a yard on their defender and was still beaten to the ball, however, his workrate, teamwork and commitment to the cause certainly cannot be called into account.
he started up top saturday with 2 of the new wingers either side of him. the 3 wingers signed in january were brought in to add pace to the squad that we didnt previously have. hopefully this front 3 can allow cullen an opportunity to show what he can do in and around the 18 yard box centrally facing goal..

Don’t let him anywhere near pens if it comes to that

misses a pen - just wide. ... and THAT is exactly why I'd rather have our Paul in the team to come off the bench in ET...

Thought he did pretty well in all round game and scoring the goal - a smart finish.
Could have had a hat trick if more clinical in front of goal and a game (another game?) where he didn't last 90 mins.
Also he celebrated like a local kid scoring a big goal rather than an inported tit celebrating hooliganism. (Yes, I also disagree with Cardiff wanky Hymns and Arias song).

A Masterclass tonight v Iceland. Two goals and two assists. (Not sure if he will officially get the second assist for the Wilson goal).

Didnt realise he was a Pembrokeshire boy, well done!
Not going to lie, I've been skeptical for a while, however massive credit tonight for the goals and the partial assist.
Bellamy seems to be a massive fan.

Absolutely, I was unsure why he was ever included in the squad but impressed by how Bellamy has built a bigger pool of playable players over these games. We seem to genuinely have a squad where we can still complete without key players.
