The second assist is definitely his, he did ever so well there to make something out of that situation.

I think it's fair to say that Cullen's performance last night was the best of his career. Bellamy and Luke Williams clearly rate him, so perhaps he needed a performance like that to kick on. It will be interesting to see how he performs for Swansea in the coming weeks, and whether Williams allows him to drop deep more often.

the assist for the 3rd goal was lovely. Absolutely chuffed to bits for him.

Shut me up last night. Well done to him! Also thought Mark Harris grew into the game too had some really handy moments.

Bellamy on Cullen:
"He's been so good. And do you know what I love about him most? The habits. He has so many good habits. His reaction when he loses the ball.”
"His work rate for the team. He puts the team first.”
"I said to him when he came on the other day, 'You do not fail to impress me. You constantly impress me every minute I see of you. In training and even in the meetings.”
"You know when you just see someone staring at the screen like listening to every word you're saying. That's him, and he was outstanding today."

Gets talked down on here but I've always felt he was a good option for us in the medium term. Certainly compared to a certain heavily hyped lower division striker!

I thought he looked really tidy when he came on against Turkey and again last night he buzzed around always looking to do something. Took his goals well and the assist for the third was great but there's something about his assist for Harry Wilson that really stood out, he made it out of nothing with sheer determination. He's a technically talented lad but he can also dig in too and that could prove to be very valuable for us.

I like his energy. Always running and chasing. One of his assets and a good fit for the way Bellamy wants to play. He always looks 100% committed and can get him into good positions in the box to pick up goals as shown by his second.
Got his limitations but overall a valuable asset.

It's funny that around this time 6 years ago, Cullen, Harris, and Dan James were losing 2-0 away against Romania u21s. Our team also had Broadhead, Morrell, and RND in it. I remember thinking at the time that I couldn't see many of that side making it with the seniors. Fast forwards 6 years and three of those combined for our second goal yesterday. www.fotmob.com/en-GB/matches/wales-u21-vs-romania-u21/1ps3q0#2473042:tab=lineup
