The thing is arsenal are in a title run in. this is not the time they are going to nurture a young player after a long injury. He will be back They're not exactly pulling up any trees at the moment. It's frustrating when you see the likes of Bendtner coming on as a sub last night when he's crap...also Huddlestone pitched straight back in for Spurs......

looking at how cautious wenger was over eduardo,it isnt a surprise to see ramsay being treated the same way,he was always going to struggle to get back into the pace of things,he came back to some fitness around xmas, hardly an ideal time to bring back a player from serious injury with the pitches being hard going and many matches in a short space of time
hopefully we will see the benefit of wenger's cautious approach next season,he does need to step up next season though we dont want the 'next big thing' to be a bit part player for too long

Has played well and put away a tidy finish.
On todays evidence rumours of his demise have (thankfully) been greatly exaggerated.

Hey BA- I posted that already! Or are my posts so boring no-one bothers reading them or something?
Anyway, watching the highlights of the game the other day also makes it clear that Rambo is a much more natural goalscorer than Wilshire too. You don't often see Aaron snatching at chances the way Wilshire did in the 1st half. Wenger said he has a natural instinct for getting on the end of chances and finishing them. Fabregas said something about how if he falls asleep he'll wake up to find Ramsey in his place. You can't really imagine Arsenal's manager and captain saying those things about Wilshire....

Wilshere is still ahead of Ramsey in the Arsenal pecking order though. Like it or not, if Fabregas had been fit yesterday then Ramsey would have been on the bench, not Wilshere. Not saying that will always be the case, but it is at the moment.

Not saying that will always be the case, but it is at the moment. Well obviously! What Sunday proved is that he still has the ability and that Arsenal wont be getting rid any time soon. Giving him a contract extension whilst injured was evidence of that, but he hasnt exactly set the world alight since coming back and his lack of opportunities to even make the bench made me wonder if Wenger saw another Eduardo situation in training. Thankfully, Sunday has set all that to rights.

I'm beginning to think that Ramsey might be the best managed player ever!

Someone posted something last week on a BBC article saying Giggs is English, not Welsh. In 2011 there are still people who think this. They're in for a surprise when they hear the world isn't flat

Just brilliant to see him back to this level and bossing MU out of a big game in the title run in at his first game back at the Emirates since his return. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdP5iPdmH40&feature=feeduSpeed has done a good thing in making him captain - now he just needs to build the team around him.

After his winner last week it would have been pretty harsh to leave him out. Good luck to him, hope he has another good game.
