Is he definitely Welsh-qualified? Born in England.

Harries has previously had a number of Wales u17 caps and a couple of u19 caps. But hasn't been called into any squad for the last year

Is he definitely Welsh-qualified? Born in England. It was suggested to me by a friend in passing last year that Harries's qualification was via a parent, albeit I have no way of verifying what was said over a pint...so take that with a pinch of salt. However yes, he definitely seems to qualify, he was in that Victory Shield squad and followed it up with relatively regular call-ups/appearances for the U19's in trips to Portugal and Germany. If he does make it I'm not too sure he'll turn out for us to be honest.

Harry Wilson’s record for Liverpool u23s this season (including friendlies) - 28 appearances: 19 goals & 9 assists. Liverpool verses Man Utd under 23's on tonight, no Wilson or Woodburn but Jordan Williams is involved & I would think Regan Poole as well. Link cricfree.sc/mutv-live-stream

He was withdrawn from the under 23's last night. Unusual to withdraw your captain so I suspect he is involved in the first team on Wednesday. Best of luck to him

Would be great if him and Woodburn both get on the pitch.

Wilson needs to impress if he is given the chance, he has done well n the reserves but needs to try ad force his way in like Woodburn has done.
I can see them both becoming regulars for Wales in the 2020 campaign

Would be great if him and Woodburn both get on the pitch. I'd love them to play on Saturday and then Dave Edwards will show both of them that there is still breath in the old Dragon yet!

Woodburn has been much more influential since moving to the middle of the park. Very neat and tidy in possession.

Very promising. Woodburn is really making a great impression. Wilson was full of energy and grit. Can imagine George Williams watching this match and thinking he has no chance to make the welsh squad any more...

Simon is back in training and his coach is saying he looks better than ever - they are even holding off from buying another centre forward, as he says its no longer needed. A bit rich, considering they have only scored 8 goals all season (18 games) but I love his optimism! www.vi.nl/nieuws/anastasiou-hoopt-nog-op-versterking-voor-roda-jc.htm

Yes, he's watching the game at home and thinking iep that's it might as well retire now - jeepers it's a good job George Williams is probably a bit more positive than some. The guy is STILL young!!!

It's pleasing to be told Chris Coleman thinks Harry went backwards after his Wales cap. He's 19 now, 20 by the time of the ROI game, thought he would have done more in his club career by now personally, he's only made 9 professional appearances in total.
I wish him all the best though and hope he does make it to the very top level.

I meant no disrespect to the young man, and thought he did a sterling job in the beginning of our campaign two years ago (especially in the home game v Cyprus). But, with respect, thought he was a journey-man in France.
