Needs a loan move. Look what it’s doing for Wilson, isn’t he just used mainly as a training partner

At the risk of sounding like a broken record...He's 18. A child. He's developing nicely and in the right place.
Worry if he's in the same situation in 3 years.

He’s obviously helping improve the Liverpool first XI by providing some good competition in training.

I think it's an accumulative moan at Klopp who has held back Ward and Wilson. Jordan Williams seems to have disappeared also. All three might do well to look for permenent moves away from Liverpool in the summer. Can't be that bad for Ben to be training with the Liverpool first team. But Klopp arrived to the UK with a reputation for bringing through youngsters. Easier done for a top side in the Bundesliga than it is here.

Klopp will push youth through, 19 yr old right back tonight. They have to be good enough though.

Harder to get into a side without an injury in your position and especially when you're fighting for a place with Salah, Mane, Lallana and oxlade Chamberlain.

I wouldn't write him off being a top player just yet. Let's see how he performs at that level first as he hasn't had a fair crack (any crack at all).

Was on the bench yesterday and Klopp doesn't even bring him on at 2-1 on the night, 5-1 agg.
Hope he gets out of there tbh.
If he was English - or still able to play for England - no doubt there'd be uproar about it.

I thought he was 23 for some reason. He's certainly had a great 2nd half of the season. Back to Woodburn - he'll develop just fine at Liverpool.

Would be a good move for him. Worked wonders for Declan John.. Agree. He doesn't need to be at the highest level yet. Just needs to keep his confidence up and play competitive games. In some ways, it may be the perfect loan for him. Maybe a six month loan and see how it goes.

Shows with Wilson that a loan can be the springboard to show what he can actually do.
Woodburn sitting on the bench is doing nothing for him. He's not even getting u23 games because of being "involved" with the first team. His last games were:
05/02/18 09/03/18 16/03/18
He's just in limbo, training with the first team is not game time.
He must be looking at Wilson green with envy.

It would be amazing if something happened to the GKs and some of the attacking players days before the Champions League final (assuming Liverpool get there) and Ward saves a penalty and Woodburn scores the winner!

I understand that the Rangers defense is weakened with the absence of our Declan ... but its not pretty

On the bench for Liverpool today, behind Solanke who somehow seems to be ahead of him at Liverpool despite being shit
No chance Ben'll come on. Lallana, Ings & Moreno/Clyne will be the three subs ahead of him, does Klopp just not fancy Woodburn for some reason?

Think he had about seven touches too. Some lovely free flowing movement from the the Liverpool players.
A loan to Swansea could make a lot of sense next season.

Follow in Harry's footsteps at Hull?
If Fulham don't go up I'd love him to go there, or maybe Brentford
