had one of his best games by far and he made correct decision with the ball, eg pass the simple pass , not run down a dead end. concerns tho he got a knock when scoring and struggled with it throu out the 90min. should boost his confidence and on to the cup on saturday...

Tin pot leaders 👉👊👉👃 Lampard likes Tom and he is first on the team sheet. But must admit his decision last night seemed bit strange and questionable

Did anyone see Tom last night? Those tin-pot managers at County did the exact same as last time, playing him for 83' and then saying he was probably not totally up for it ;-(

We missed Lawrence and yes we want him wrapped in cotton wool.

Tom is back ... and if that muppet plays him injured again ... I will not be happy ;-(
I think that they got their £7m worth from him ten times over!
EDIT No sign of any injury. Played an exceptionally good first half, linking up really well with both Mount and Wilson. ... Quite amazing what six days rest can do ;-(

Surprise surprise.......why did we cave in to these knobeds? They are 3-0 up at half time. I can only hope that even tin pot managers will have the sense to take Tom off at half time. If he does play the full 90 minutes, questions need to be asked!
EDIT Injured himself at the 70' while earning his team a pen... but still on the field. They are 6-1 up. Shocking from that Frank.
Used up all three subs ... So Tom plays on the whole 90'

If memory serves me right I am sure "shocking Frank" bought his dogs from "Cowboy". For the younger / newer fans Cowboy was a Wales regular who also was a breeder of a specific dog breed.

Poor show from Lawrence
Welsh fa should insist players turn up and assess them themselves.
Not listen to self serving managers who are on a bad run.

Either way, on current form, with all of our players fit he doesn’t make our starting XI.

Whatever he had must have been extremely minor to make such a miraculous recovery in 5 days.

Frank Lampard is not going to save him so he is fit to play for Wales. Derby County pay Lawrence his wages and they should be his first priority. Once he is fit and playing well he can then turn his attention to playing for Wales

The Welsh medical team should be making these calls not fat frank

Not Frank's decision - if he's fit he should report to Wales and their physios analyse him, as with all other players. Wales obviously will not use a player if its to his detriment. But also it is not Giggs' role to save him so he is fit to play for Derby.
The rest of the comment is nonsense

He was not fit. Simple as that.
Where have you read seen or dreamt that he was saving for a game a week later.
Lawrence was out for 4 weeks prior with injury simple as that and was not 100% come international break. He did not play week before or week after like other players. Derby & Wales discussed his injury and agreed he was not to join up.

Not saying that wasn't the right thing to do, but dont think it's fair to say it was dreamt up that Derby didnt want him playing

As posted above, he played in Derby's last game before the int break and Lampard said himself that they would 'speak to wales' regarding playing him. Take the blinkers off, he was probably fine, but Lampard was pulling all the strings.

Yes I'm defensive of Lawrence but players fitness came first. I hope he is fit this weekend and able to carry on his improvement with a few goals..
