For our Northern friends, Liverpool to Sofia direct on Ryan air. Out on Friday 7pm Back on Monday evening ALL FOR ONLY £50... Or Doncaster to Sofia on Wizz Air Out on Friday 7pm Back on Monday evening ALL FOR ONLY £50... Also, you can get a train once/twice a day to Belgrade (9hours) from Sofia. Not sure of the cost. or a bus 3 times a day to Niš (3/4 hours (-1 hour time difference)) and then on to Belgrade, almost every hour, (3 hours). Combined should be €20 one way, I guess there's a return discount. |

Anyone not booked any flights yet or looking for a bargain a very cheap way is to fly from Manchester or Stansted Airport to Milan Bergamo then Milan Bergamo to Nis in southern Serbia on the Saturday to Tuesday Nis is just little over 2 hours from Belgrade and buses all throughout the day and night for less than 5 euro.

I booked this flight from London Stansted to Milan return then Milan Bergamo to Nis return altogether was around £50.00 and this was recent. Bargain of a price leaving saturday morning back from Nis tuesday afternoon , only 2 hours from belgrade on bus or train. whole flight is with Ryanair

Just booked a direct flight from Belgrade to Heathrow on the 13th for £112 with Air Serbia. Not bad, decent times as well. Leaves Belgrade 10:25, gets to Heathrow 12:30.
Now I just need to work out how I'm getting there!

Just booked a direct flight from Belgrade to Heathrow on the 13th for £112 with Air Serbia. Not bad, decent times as well. Leaves Belgrade 10:25, gets to Heathrow 12:30. Now I just need to work out how I'm getting there! If you don't want to linger ... Luton to Belgrade direct flight on Saturday evening with Wizz Air is only £45 ;-) If you fancy a half-day in Zagreb, then Croatia Air does Heathrow to Zagreb for £80 Dept Friday 8pm arrive Zagreb 11pm Its a lovely 6-hour train trip between the two - first departure is at 11.15am for £10 |

If it wasn't for the fact that I bought my Trans Avia ticket from AMS to Belgrade almost a year ago, I would certainly be doing that train ride. Flying into Belgrade on Thursday afternoon ... and absolutely no idea what I'll do there for four full days, as most accounts suggest it is a dead bore... Thank God my return leg departs from the lovely Ljubljana ;-) |

Flying into Belgrade on Thursday afternoon ... and absolutely no idea what I'll do there for four full days, as most accounts suggest it is a dead bore... Thank God my return leg departs from the lovely Ljubljana ;-) I think the river beach season starts on 1 June. If the sun's out you can have a paddle in the river before all the rabble arrive. |

Thanks, I was just reading that they have quite a decent National Theatre on Republic Square. Looking at their website, ballet / opera prices start at 200 dinar (£1.50) and the best seats in the house are only 1000 (£6). Still have great memories of Romeo and Juliet last year in Kiev ;=) So, after sunbaking on the Danube by day, I shall soak in some culture by night ;-) Also on Republic Square, there are free guided walks in English, departing daily at 11am from next to the horse statute. www.narodnopozoriste.rs/en/login |

National Express direct to Heathrow.................. know they have direct from Swansea with stop at Cardiff but there will be lots of other routes there as well. |

When I first checked the price of LTN to Belgrade on the Saturday was £158, you've seen it at £45, now it is back up to £104. They've got the same flight on the Thursday at £49. But can't seem to find anything decent flying back to the UK on the Monday. Can the board's resident travel agent be of assistance? |

No mate i will not boycott the match. You can expect the full capacity because our fans are now on the wind and expects a big win in June. The weather will be nice and sunny, maybe about 25c so you can enjoy in Belgrade. Don't worry about safety. Pay attention on taxi drivers, especially on airport. Transfer from airport to city center should not be more than 20e.
