Once we get past all the same noise that Ramsey had when he went there, this is actually a great move for him

Hope we’re not going to be in a situation where Rabbi and Tom are fighting for the same position.
Disgusting club but hopefully it works out for both of them.

Did not see this coming. Sensational move for him. Him and Tom will be playing together not competing. Can’t wait to see them both in Europe

Can’t wait to see them both in Europe They're 2 games away from the Champions League groups, 1 game away from the Europa League if they lose, so quite possible he'll be in the Champions League next season

Really good move for him, he can play regularly, gain experience, sharpness and play in European competition too.

Scottish League is a similar level to the Belgian league. So this is the equivalent of him joining an Anderlecht. Smart move by Rangers given Matondo's output last season. Excited to see what he can do there even though I don't like Rangers
This move upsets me far less than Ramsey's

Very well taken goal set up by Lawrence. Rabbi did the same for Lawrence and set him up for a goal (see Lawrence thread)

Two assists today against St Johnstone And he started while Lawrence was on the bench I watched the match and they both played well. From what I’ve seen so far it’s a great move for Rabbi (and Lawrence for what it’s worth). I can see the improvement from his time in Belgium and he’s going to keep building on it.

Rabbi was quiet for the first 30 mins v Hearts and he pulled out a great assist for the second.

And now he’s almost had his season ruined by a thug. Lucky he hasn’t broken his Ankle. But the foul on Rabbi has caused a red card. He’s having a good game today!

Feel sorry for Rabbi missing out.
It was a foot shot from Page to say he needs to play more games despite picking Colwill who hasnt played in 2 months!

Seemed their best player when he came on in both games against Liverpool He needs space to play. Going to a team that dominates the ball domestically just doesn’t suit him. Albeit in pre-season, he looked a cut above whilst playing against other Prem teams

But Colwill was competing against Allen,Jordan James, Smith and Ramsey, who haven’t played much themselves. Matondo was up against Dan James , Johnson and Wilson, who have had loads more game time.

Rabbi went absolutely mental at the final whistle v Ukraine. Means the world to him it seems. He actually seems a top guy and He’s now officially our unluckiest player. Hopefully he can use this as motivation to make the 2024 squad. When you consider Gunter is essentially there because he loves wales and fans love him it’s kinda shit Rabbi doesn’t get the same love when he shows so much passion and ambition.

Yeah I like Rabbi too. I still think his time will come. It won’t stop him being disappointed now though obviously.

Albeit in pre-season, he looked a cut above whilst playing against other Prem teams I think this is it tbh. I thought at the time that the Belgian league being at a similar level to the Scottish league meant this was a good move and a step up. But I think you're right, Rabbi is best when he plays for a team where he can counter-attack. Ironically, I think he'd be well suited to Cardiff atm! But really I don't think he'll make much of an impact for us until he was improve being a player who can play well when we are on top of a team, so maybe in the long run the Rangers move will come good for us and him

Why aren't we taking him as a reserve? Is it because the Scottish season is continuing? I hope so!

Why aren't we taking him as a reserve? Is it because the Scottish season is continuing? I hope so! I think the point of bringing James, Harris and now Cooper is to give them experience and integrate them into the squad. Rabbi, along with Tyler, Burns and other regulars who missed out, don’t need that experience. Of course they can still call on any of those if they we have some injuries, just little benefit in bringing them as non playing squad members.

When given a chance, Rabbi hasn't done enough in a Wales shirt to warrant a place in the squad
