I don't imagine this will be a popular thing to say, but Harris is having a very decent season with Oxford - just scored his 10th goal of the season. He's 4 years younger than Mullin and a year younger than Will Evans... Not sure how saying that Harris is having a decent season and has scored his 10th goal of the season will not be a popular thing to say. There were many that didn’t think he should be in the squad but I don’t think anyone didn’t wish Harris well.

There were many that didn’t think he should be in the squad but I don’t think anyone didn’t wish Harris well. Meant more the suggestion that he probably should be ahead of Evans and Mullin in the pecking order. People were very quick to write off Harris because of his poor goal return at club level, and weren't prepared to see all the good he did (including turning the game around for us out in Belarus which was key in our world cup qualification). They used him as a stick to beat Page with - that he'll pick Harris ahead of the likes of Mullin out of blind loyalty. I just think there's a good lesson here in terms of not writing off players like Harris - just because we've seen more of them and are more aware of their faults - in the search for the shiny new thing.

Reached 10+ league goals for the first time in his career.

I'm a little surprised he's seemingly dropped off the radar squad wise now that he's actually playing regular football. He's possibly the closest thing we have as a replacement for Moore.
Cullen may be better technically, but we all know he's not coming on to replace Kieffer. Harris does at least offer that more physical presence
11 goals and 5 assists in the league this season, 15 and 6 in all competitions. Not bad.

There's still plenty of time for Harris to take his game up a few levels, it looks like it's happening gradually.

If we're looking at League 1 goals only:
- 3 goals in his first 3 games followed by a drought until the new year; - 4 goals in January; - 2 goals in February; - 2 goals so far in April.
Seems to be a player who is working on feast or famine at the moment but getting more regular output since the new year. I make it 8 goals in 17 league games this year.
Kieffer didn't really get going as a goal-scorer until aged 25 and in League 1, if we're being half-full about it all.

Watched him play for Cardiff a bit and he has nowhere near Moore's physicality or hold up play. He's tenacious and hard working and scored a few good Championship goals but was never prolific. Glad to hear he's kicked on at Oxford. Better than a lot of fans would have you believe but he's more application than natural ability.

He's just been too streaky in his goalscoring form unfortunately. He needs to score at a more consistent rate before getting another look-in imo. With another year until the WC qualifiers, I'd rather give the opportunity to a youngster (Koumas) or see what someone like Aaron Collins can do

One to keep an eye on. But at Oxford this year he's been able to get regular minutes playing as a centre forward. Really hit home that that he's best utilized there as opposed to a utility forward playing up front and outwide like he was at Cardiff.
Interesting to see if he stays or gets a move to the championship. Could be handy for us with the lack of our and out strikers we have.

11 in 19 games since 2024 started if I have got my maths correct.
Based on the quality of his goals in the level above, he's always struck me as a player who should score more often than he did but previously 3 league goals in a season was his best.
Hopefully the start of something for him.

Scored 14 in the league this season I think I remember hearing that Cardiff offered him a contract extension to be a rotational/squad player but he turned it down in search of more regular game time. Fair play to him if true, it's paying dividends. Other players should take note, it's always better to drop down a level and play regularly than rot on the bench at a higher level. Hopefully Oxford get promoted through the playoffs and he'll be back in the Championship next season, but if not, he's proven he's very capable at League One level at the very least.

Another HUGE goal for Mark. Taking the lead and - currently - in the final play-off spot. They might need to relay on goal difference, tho.

Congrats to Mark, Finley and Billy for making the play-offs. Looks like our Joe Taylor is off to a beach somewhere - CYprus, to support the boys?

Previous scoreless runs in-between hot streaks include eight and a number greater than ten. Now up against Peterborough in the play-offs.

The downside is that there is major Green / Liberal Party opposition to their new stadium and they could be homeless by 2026.

Excellent result for his side over the two legs but can't say Harris did anything obviously good.

I would add that Fin Stevens struggled quite a bit in the small segment I saw of the game last night. Wasn't surprised to see him substituted beginning of the second half
