Made Sheehan and Santos really uncomfortable today in a predominantly 'defending from the front' role and made a big contribution to Oxford's win.

Back in the second tier at the first time of asking. Pleased for him, he’s had a great season Good for him! I was never a fan of him in a Wales shirt but it was humble of him to drop down a division to kick start his career. Hope he gets a decent chance next year and that the time he has spent at Oxford has helped him develop as a player.

Definitely deserves a chance after the season he's had, especially considering these games are a chance to give a few players a chance.

Ouch! Still smarting from Saturday.
Harris sacrificed his striker's instinct and worked his socks off to throttle any avenue to Sheehan from the back 3, which completely nullified Bolton's natural game, and built the foundations for Oxford's success. A thoroughly disciplined professional performance.
And 15 goals in L1 is not shabby either.

It's not too complex but being aware as a forward of passing lines and using your body to cut them off/make them more difficult is so important in the modern game.
Not every forward is going to be leading the press or a great tackler but this "soft pressure" should be part of their training programme.
Harris of course does a bit more than this in the video above.

Reckon he should stay at Oxford. Clearly doing well there, and rated by the fans.

Reckon he should stay at Oxford. Clearly doing well there, and rated by the fans. And I think Oxford have sold one of their other goalscorers to Pompey.

I'd stay there and assess the season after.

Would be brilliant off the bench in Bellamy's high pressing, high energy system.

He still confuses me - I don't know how to rate him. His goal highlight reel would show some incredible but rare strikes, now he has scored two in two in the Championship with both goals being fairly scruffy finishes.
Gutting for Oxford United who deserved a point after playing so well. Vaulks made a mistake after 94 mins of good play.
Excellent football by both teams.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Bellamy bringing him back into the fold and using him a lot more. He’s the right profile with his workrate and pressing, and if he can add goals too it becomes a no-brainer

Can see him having a place under Bellamy. Whilst he doesn't have excite me as a player, I could see him being used as a work horse in a tough away game where we will be chasing a lot of ball

Bit of a rough diamond isn't he, I have a feeling/hope that he has another gear or two in him yet. I've always thought that if he can sort his finishing out, which looks like it's getting better, he could be a really good option because he doesn't look fun to defend against.

I always thought he what potential to be a decent option and would be happy for him to be brought back into the fold. Can’t afford to turn anyone down who’s a regular goal scorer

He's a better player than many give him credit for and doesn't deserve the shit he gets on Twitter every time he's in a squad
Excited to see how he gets on this season

25 yard volly, no less! 2 feet firmly inside the team bus, for me. Will Vaulks looks like signaling to our Bellers, that he has not given up, on his Wales career, either!
