Sounds very confident, almost cocky - which i like ;-)
A little different from the interviews with young Woody.
If he can deliver half of what Ben did on his first two outings, I will have a massive smile on my face.

Great interview Hopefully though, as time goes on, every Brooks interview won’t be talking about England.

Yep constantly asking him about England is getting tedious now.

Great interview Hopefully though, as time goes on, every Brooks interview won’t be talking about England. Yes to be honest I thought the same thing. I wasn’t the one who asked the question but I suppose it is relevant with Rice and Ireland etc. and until he gets his competitive cap I’d imagine this question will always come up. Nevertheless, this is the first time I’ve seen him properly passionate about it and that for me was great. I can tell you even if he never plays for Wales again (like that’s going to happen 😂) he won’t play for the guys across the border.

Hilarious comment from an Ireland fan on the way back to Cardiff Central:
"That Jonny Williams has got f***ing good hasn't he?"

Bale, Wilson and Brooks to start in a forward three? Would be harsh on Lawrence since he scored last time. We could easily play with a front five, our tactics would literally have to be hoofing the ball to the corners and pressing the opposition defenders. Might be interesting for 30 mins in a friendly?

Wilson last week, Brooks this week...
(Almost) seems as though we're spoilt for choice in midfield these days! 😀

Brooks - Bale - Wilson front three v Ireland
Woodburn - Vokes - Lawrence for Spain (providing Bale is rested and comes on for second half)

Very cool tap in. Also started the move for their third goal, with an excellent through ball to allow the cross.

Brooks got a mighty clattering after 70 minutes and got subbed immediately after. My stream dropped off for 2 minutes ... did he walk off the field? Injured?

Hope not. I don't think I could cope with having Bale AND Brooks ruled out for our next fixtures! 😰

Hadn't realised how well he played until watching the highlights just now. Nice to see the pundits singling him out and doing a feature on his performance. Must be great for his confidence!

I highlighted Brooks as a player I would have brought on when we went a goal behind vs Ireland in last year's WC qualifier.
He always had incredible skill, good pace and flair and has a goal threat, but at Bournemouth his all round game is top class now. His passing is very accurate and is imaginative / always looking for a forward option. Perhaps the most pleasing aspect for what is an attacking player is his defensive game which is much better than someone like Bale, for example - he works extremely hard to get back and seem very disciplined, effective in his defensive efforts. He is also playing with consistency, which is great when you consider he is only 21.
We are very fortunate to have him! Thank goodness it was a Welsh mum that rocked his cradle! If he continues his development then he could end up in a top 6 club in the future. He is a definite starter for Wales for me.

Lots of pundits saying he won’t be long at Bournemouth. I wonder who comes in for him? Arsenal have been mentioned

Watching the game. Brooks off after 60 mins. Bournemouth never got into the game first half. 2nd half better. Brooks just being looked after by Howe

3rd goal in 4 games the boy is on fire.
Also was cynically tackled resulting in tackler being sent off.

Think the new formation for the Denmark match must be Ash at the back, with a 1-4-5 system ;-)

We are very lucky to have this talent!
Great timing when we got him involved too! He was promising but he was not even a regular starter for Sheffield Utd when he got involved in the Wales first team. Now he is a regular in the Premiership and is consistently very good! England would definitely have been whispering into his ear on this form!
