Last time Brooksy played Brighton, he bagged himself two goals in a 2-0 win. Hopefully he can get himself back into form on Saturday.

Puts B'mth 3-0 up at Briton. He ended up playing the right. A goal and an assist, played his part in a much stronger overall team performance.

Even our Chris had a decent match as well. A few very decent blocks / clearances.

Dai has been nominated for young player of the year: Deserved. I don't think he will win it, especially as one of Sterling/Silva/TAA will win the league. I think Brooks deserves it more than Rashford and Rice though. Sterling is a dead cert to win it though, especially with the media focus on him right now.

An encouraging thing about our Dai is that he has been hacked to pieces all through the first half, but still seems to be made of sturdy stuff. Hope I havn't spoken too soon, but perhaps more of a Allen than a Huws ;-)

The fact that Stirling and Silva are eligible for the award at their age is a joke.

The fact that Stirling and Silva are eligible for the award at their age is a joke. Exactly this, I struggle to see how you are still a "young player" at 24

What an utterly nonsense formation we ended up with.

It looked like Mepham was playing RB but then moving back to CB out of possession, and Brooks was almost acting as a RWB at times. Strange.

Dai having a great game and played a big part in both goals so far. Pulling the defender away with him for the first and shooting from 20 yards and the keeper spilling it, for the second.

Where was Brooks yesterday? "slight" ankle injury. Was said to be 50/50 to play yesterday...

If we'd had Brooks fit for the Spurs game we'd have thrashed them- he'd have a field day against 9 men. Really missed his creativity.

I'm guessing the Faw will call both Brooks and Ramsey up to the training camp and assess their fitness then... Fingers crossed they'll be ok.

WARNING WARNING - nwcherries PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ;-) Haha, there's not a single chance in hell that Levy would spend £80 million on Bournemouth players- even if one of them is the Welsh Pele.

I'm sure he'll continue to improve. That might be preferable from a Welsh perspective - at least he's guaranteed regular game time at Bournemouth.
