Hope not!  As others have mentioned missed countless friendlies over the years. Salary on offer would be an issue too.

Recently Giggs with FAW Trust in Fishguard training youngsters. Apparently couldn't get away quick enough.

Divisive figure among fans too.

As part of the changes, Ian Rush will leave his post at the FAW and join the coaching team at Everton. They've already announced it in one of the football magazines.

I'm sure he gets paid a massive amount to do so but why is he always an analyst on England matches? It might be so outrageous that it must be an April fools joke but realistically who else except Giggs will be the next Wales manager?

Being fickle is part of being a football fan though isn't it? Managers are in a results based environment, if they win they're doing a good job but if they lose they aren't. Wales aren't in the position where we have to build 4 years in advance like Toshack and Speed had to so Giggs would be judged like Coleman is now, on a game by game basis.

I personally don't want Giggs as manager for lots of reasons, mainly based on the fact I don't think he will do a good job. If he gets us to another tournament finals though I reserve the right to go back on my opinion and consider him the best thing to ever happen to Welsh football.

Exactly, there were other people there other than Giggs, and Bale would likely have played if he didnt have an injury, despite the great "Viva Gareth Bale" chant! Giggs also played at the level Bale is now playing at (i.e. a title winning, European battling) for his entire career, not just the last 4 years. So United came first for him as they were involved in important competitions, Wales unfortunately were not. When Wales did play important games, Giggs was there. I cannot remember the last time Bale played a friendly, outside of euros build up, and also why on earth we should play him in friendlies, hes nailed on to his position as was Giggs. I think people are very unfair on Giggs.

Giggs (and Bellamy) were very close to qualifying with Wales for Euro 2004,and would certainly
have been there if it had been a 24 team comp and 2nd place in the group good enough.
Giggs also very close to 1994 world cup as well.History could have been very different and his
Wales career viewed in a different light.

He didn't sign for RM until 1st September 2013 as far as I can remember.
