I think a senior call up is a bit further off for this lad. He certainly looks promising, but hasn't he only just been included in the United u-23s recently? Has he played for our u-21s yet? By comparison, Matondo had a full season in Man Citys u-23s and played for our u-21s, and has only recently been called up for his first cap (by virtue of injuries). We already have plenty of promising talent in our squad, let's give Levitt a bit more time to progress before we throw him in the first team picture. A few training sessios with the seniors, as previously suggested, may be the best thing for him now. I agree but think Giggs may call him up. Based on the fact that he's called up other young players or the fact that he's a United player? I'm interested in how many players Giggs has called up in his tenure compared to Coleman.

Is this boy close to playing for the first team? Last night at Palace Utd had an 18 year old making his debut as a substitute apparently the new Carrick as well

Personally, I liked what I've seen from him (as well as Robbie Burton and Jack Vale). All three are very firmly in their respective U23 squads, but nowhere near their senior match-day squads. Huge promise for our U21, but I can't see them breaking through for another 2 or 3 seasons

Dylan started again tonight. Eighth appearance for U23 this year.
Unfortunately, not his best game by any stretch. To be fair, the whole team crumbled to a defeat after leading 2-0 until the 80th minute.
Commentator on MUTV saying that Dylan is considered the most talented member of the U18 and has been rightly fast-tracked to the U23. Had the most assists in the U18 (10 + 3 goals). His range of passing is quite magnificent. A similar player to Matt Smith, but perhaps lacking Smith's physicality (but he is a full year younger).

Congrats to Dylan on his call up to the seniors:
Will be a great experience for him ahead of what could be a breakthrough season come August.

‘My mate Nicky Butt rates him. So he must be good’.
Don’t be surprised if Dylan is playing for Tranmere in a few years time

Of course we're going to get excited when a young Welsh kid is touted as the next big thing. I dunno how you can write off a 17 year old that quickly.

Looks like he's got all the technical ability. Just needs to develop physically to become a senior.

Ran the game for them against Swansea's u23s last night. Played mostly in a deeper role picking the ball up from their centre halves but his vision and range of passing is pretty special. A few mistakes but the ability is there.
Scored a penalty (unfortunate Brandon Cooper handball) and didn't celebrate much.

Individual highlights vs Swansea - www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiLtwIk6dq8His passing range is silly! Seems to have all the ability in the world, here's hoping the physical side of his game develops quickly!

May need him against the Azers. If only he had been blooded against Belarus instead of giving Vaulks another pointless 5 minute cap.

May need him against the Azers. If only he had been blooded against Belarus instead of giving Vaulks another pointless 5 minute cap. Would have thought it will be Ampadu, Morrell and Ramsey in the midfield providing Ramsey is fit. If he's out we still have Wilson, T.Roberts and possibly Brooks who can all come in as the no.10. The other issue is who will be coming on for Ampadu at the hour mark. Vaulks and Smith are the likely candidates but neither are playing at the moment.

With United now qualified from their group I hope Levitt will be given a chance by Solskjaer. Given the number of youngsters United fielded tonight there's got to be a good chance. I wouldn't consider him if he doesn't have any first team action under his belt - but if he were to feature in the Europa League then he comes into the picture for the forthcoming double header. His long-range passing could be a real asset to release James and Bale early, on the counter-attack.

Signed a new contract with United last week, taking him to 2022. I saw on twitter lots of United fans calling for him to get first team minutes when they play their remaining Europa League group games against Astana and Alkmaar.
