Yes and I think a lot of League 1 championship managers will have watched that game for this very reason. There's some serious talent in that Man u youth set up. Be good if Levitt did a Joe Morell but i think he should aim for mid table championship side.
Man U generally don't loan young players out.
Henderson, Tuanzebe, Fosu Mensah etc. They've not had many good ones in recent years that they don't build up (rightly or wrongly) as wonderkids destined for first team greatness. Their u23s side was relegated a season before Swansea's and only look likes bouncing back now with a fresh crop of u18s breaking through together. It's a frankly average academy (for a big-spending Cat 1 operation) entering a period of impressive resurgence. They've got Garner, Levitt and Galbraith all around the same age, all rated about equally, all playing in the same position, so you would expect some movement on loan among them. When it's just one Rashford/Greenwood you can give them 20 minutes every couple of weeks to keep them ticking over, no need for loans.

Dylan back from injury and on for last 35'. Reports in Manchester saying that he might be going out on loan to Germany?

Needs to be tried in the friendlies now. Between him and Smith (and Huws) I should think if we’re taking 4 CMs. Probably fitter than Smith as he’s not getting many minutes for Charlton unfortunately. Not sure i trust Huws’ body for a quickfire tournament tho.

I’ve seen reports that he’s lined up for a season long loan but could just be speculation.

I’ve seen reports that he’s lined up for a season long loan but could just be speculation. He might be in with a chance for 2021 with a year long loan under his belt. He does look quite slight, so I wonder if the Football League would be the right place for him - or whether Solskjaer would want to send him abroad.

Thought there was talk earlier in the year about Preston NE? Personally, I'd love to see him at FC Twente - Oh, the memories ;-)

He’s not named in Utd’s 30 man Europa League squad for a dead rubber. Hopefully this means a loan lined up and not an injury.

Also, Levitt just tweeted “......” presumably in reference to not being selected, could be wrong though. However, I recall him tweeting 😴😴 bored emojis after not getting on vs Belarus. Needs to change his attitude sharpish, bit petulant. At least Dragon Soccer is reporting he’s not injured.
If anything it will put potential loan clubs off, which would be a shame as he’s a class player.

Got more of a not getting opportunities problem. Nothing wrong with a player being frustrated at not being involved. The hand-wringing about decorum is laughable really, when we see players praised for their passion after doing stupid, costly stuff on the pitch regularly.
Would take him at Swansea in a heartbeat. Class player.

Class player. i know what you mean - but at the same time i think its laughable that these young players expect to be in first team squads/teams and then voice there frustrations in public. don't get me wrong, i'd love to see Dylan getting more gametime (and at swansea preferably) but just don't like the whole airing his frustrations on twitter thing. not a great look... hence him deleting it.

Class player. Of course he’s allowed to be frustrated, but don’t go complaining on social media- brings a bad light on the club and the player, like airing dirty laundry. Basic stuff really, as he’s no doubt had media training on the matter.

There's a difference between airing dirty laundry and "...". Making mountains out of molehills.
Mason Bennett filmed himself driving past Derby's stadium saying it should all burn and put it on twitter (or instagram). This after the drink-driving escapade with Tom Lawrence. Neither of them losing any sleep or much football over it.

Furthered by the fact that he has 12k Twitter followers and plays for Man Utd, any perceived dissent will gain traction, so he is ‘airing’ his disappointment. All he has to do is keep it as in-house as possible. Not sure how my point is controversial. He’s 20 so hopefully he’ll learn.

Dylan Levitt is set to be sent out on loan for next season, with a likely move to a Championship club good. get the right club (swans possibly - but cooper does tend to go for the young english boys he has coached previously) with plenty of game time and he could force his way in to the euro squad next summer.

Full 92 minutes in his legs, the first 65 against an almost entirely senior side. Some good tackles and passes, lacks a bit of intensity maybe. Looks a bit casual alongside Garner who charges about throwing himself at everything (not always successfully).
Huddersfield brought on 17 year old Patrick Jones who looked decent. Composed, and their commentator talked a lot about his pace and was complimentary in general.

I commented on the Finland thread that I’ve found him underwhelming during Man U matches, and unfortunately I thought the same tonight.
Its his debut after all so it’s very much forgivable, bit in comparison to Morrell, Ampadu and Smith he seems quite a bit behind.
Bit harsh perhaps but I dont quite see why Giggs raves about him so much.
What did everyone else think??

He's behind Morrell in experience. He's a more talented footballer (both with the ball and winning it back) but hasn't had the exposure to the senior game yet. Think he'll always look a bit casual/laid back but even tonight you could see less hesitancy in the second half and his head didn't drop after a few mistakes.
Ampadu's just weird, but Smith and Morrell both had more significant senior football under their belts than a single season of u23s and a game on a plastic pitch in the Europa League. It's set to be a fair battle between those 4 and Robbie Burton for midfield places in the near future. With a couple of wildcards potentially in the mix as well.

I stand to be corrected, but wasn't that his first senior game performance? In that context it he performed very well. A bit of context wouldn't go amiss when assessing total rookies like Levitt.
