Great clearance off the line when he played for the Slovak club Trencin against Feyenoord in a European game in Rotterdam..

Good read that:
"I do think that my time in Europe can help. I've experienced different styles from youth football in England, Dutch football, Slovakian, Belgium, European, and I think it makes me more adaptable which coaches like."
Could be a good versatile option for the qualifiers next year.

I trust Albert has printed out and handed him Osian's 100 page manual about the Wales Way ;-)

Andy Dorman was a bit out of the blue but i think he was at least discussed as a possibility before being announced in a squad as it was at a time when the eligibility changed to allow years in education which we thought might get Shawcross into the Welsh setup Rumours of Andy Dorman were around since the mid 2000's if I remember rightly. Yeah, that was the least out of the blue one ever. His name always came up as an example of one of the flaws in the eligibility system and he was the first one mentioned when they were talking about the law change to allow 5 years schooling

Anyone watch him play? How did he get on? Is there any chance Giggs is going to throw him in the deep end against Denmark?

I mean Giggs has already made some bold calls, so I'm sure that wouldn't hold him back. What got me thinking was Pep Guardiola's recent praise of Aymeric Laporte. Pep was talking about having a left footed centre half, and how much it increases the speed of Man City's play in transition. He actually attributed Man City's improvement this season to having Laporte (who has been ever present in the league this season). In regards to Lawrence I'm kind of just putting the question out there as I've never seen him play. From the people who have seen him play before/watched him the other night, do you think he's good enough to be in contention to play against Denmark, or is the Albania game likely to be the first time we see him play for us?

I've been saying this for 2 & a half years but for this precise reason, I think we missed Davies as much as Ramsey in Lyon.

If indeed James is to man-mark Eriksen on Friday, the fact that the ref is Slovakian can only be in his favour K-)

He’d never been to Wales until now. Welcome to Jack Charlton’s Wales. Where the granny rule is king Bit harsh but rules are rules but most of all he believes he is Welsh.. Like few others in our young squad who chose Wales and heart is Welsh. They not like vinny Jones who looked around and Wales was 3rd choice or like Declan rice one minute Irish now full blown English (for now)

I was just having a laugh. It has been reported though that JL had never been to Wales. Granny rule, army children born abroad are eligible to play for any of the home nations doesn’t bother me, Channel Islanders can choose too. I just thought i’d have a sneaky pop at ROI of yesteryear

Re-watched the game and thought he looked solid enough with decent distribution. His through ball sent James on his way to cross when Vokes should have buried it early in the game.
Looks a good addition to the squad...and kudos for learning the anthem so quickly.
