glad when those china/mexico drop out of the counting Must admit that from the 400 or so out in China, only a handful were not hard core Away addicts... And even they were mostly local / ex-pats that didn't get their tickets from the FAW. I'd say that around 95% of those out in China / LA have 10/12 at least... Think your right when I went there had all now having 11 out of 12 missing mexico my travelling buddy has 12 he went to LA for one night

I'd agree that the vast majority in China were Wales Away "addicts", but I'd say that a good many that travelled were in the 6 to 10 out of 12 aways grouping. cymruramdcfc are you sure that the criteria will be the last 12 number of aways? From what I have seen they are basing on the number of aways since Austria away, so it won't always be the last 12 aways, but at some point in the future the criteria will be X number of aways in the last (say) 30. Either way, it would be great if the FAW would publish the number of supporters in each category so that we could make an educated guess on whether we were likely to get a ticket.

It’s been current campaign and last campaign and any aways in the middle for a while now. So unless the FAW count the Nations League as a separate campaign can’t see them dropping any off unless they decide to change the criteria again?

I asked the ticket office if I was in the top 1000 or 1500 and they said they don't have that info. Which I thought would be simple to work out

Which I thought would be simple to work out These were the figures prior to Albania: Any 6 out of the last 11 away qualifying/friendly matches on their booking history All 1496 members who qualify for stage 1 are guaranteed a ticket provided they book before the end of stage 1.

Scrolling through the Albania thread I found a post saying approx 1,000 sold in stage 1 for Albania, suggesting there’s about 1,000 now on 7 out of 12 last aways. Not official but a reasonable benchmark. Corky stated 1000 on Facebook last night

Yes. I'd say that's about right. 7 out of 12 will probably be the guaranteed Stage 1 for Zagreb/Budapest. More than likely people with 6/12 will also be guaranteed a ticket - circa 500 of them - depending on the allocation.
It will be squeaky bum time for those on 5 aways...

Just looking at old threads and this was the breakdown for the most recent Ireland game:
Denmark v Wales 09.09.18 Mexico v Wales 28.05.18 China Cup Finals Day - Wales v Uruguay 26.03.18 China Cup - China v Wales 22.03.18 France v Wales 10.11.17 Georgia v Wales 06.10.17 Moldova v Wales 05.09.17 Serbia v Wales 11.06.17 Republic of Ireland v Wales 24.03.17 Austria v Wales 06.10.16
So China does count as 2
Add Ireland and Albania to the above to make 12 games

Friendlies should count for more, as they show true commitment to the cause ... especially in the Albanian rain ;-)

Don't do friendlys even for derby. Cost to watch s game that not largely no meaning, like Albania it would cost about 400 euro cheapest.. that's 8-10 flights to derby... all down to finances really

Sadly, its barely an extra 3k seats, so still only a compulsory 1250 Away allocation. The Slovakian FA gave England and Scotland closer to 1800 tickets recently, that we are sure to snap up, as well ... I imagine minimum criteria will be 7/12 last aways ... 6/12 at a push.
So am I correct that we are expecting about 1800 tickets for this, regardless of whether it's Trnava or Bratislava?

So am I correct that we are expecting about 1800 tickets for this, regardless of whether it's Trnava or Bratislava? That's a tough one, as the Scots and English were given that in the old stadium. It could be that the construction of the new stadium away end might limit our availability.
Still, its a Thursday in October, so I imagine 1800 being more than enough. That said, we took more than that to Albania for a friendly ;-))

No way was there 1800 in Albania.
I expect us to take around 2000 to all qualifiers if we do well, even Azerbaijan if winning that game seals qualification.

We should be asking for 2000 minimum We should ask for as many as expressed interest, perhaps more given many may be disappointed to miss out on Croatia and Hungary and may opt for this instead.

I agree. As many as possible, consdering we are going to get precious little from the Croats and Hungarians ;-(

Hopefully we get that allocation and they don’t stick to the 5% rule
How many did the Hungarians get against them?
