Pulled out because of a wrist injury.
Forgive me for having a go, but I've seen plenty of footballers play on with wrist casts and strappings.
Poor excuse imo.

Well, I've just checked his injury status online and he's due back on the 17th, which is when West Brom play their first match after the international break.
Absolute bo**ocks this all is.

HRK has to prove a point and he knows that. He's made the decision to come back in and he wants to be involved in the squad this summer - we didn't go chasing him. So I'm confident that this is a genuine injury - why would they feel the need to mess about when he isn't even starting for them? There's no need to be overly sensitive. Each case should be assessed on its own merit. In my view, the likes of Giggs and Dummett in the past were clearly messing us about, but I don't think that's true of HRK, Rambo and Tyler Roberts

But that’s almost two weeks away, which is genuinely enough time to recover from a lot of injuries. From watching the game yesterday, I don’t think he was faking it.

I'm not doubting it's genuine, just saying I've have seen players play on with wrist/hand injuries. If I recall correctly, Ampadu had a wrist bandaged up for a few games while playing for us a couple of years ago. Seems very soft imo.

I remember seeing Jess Fishlock play for Wales with her arm in a sling.

What? So you mean it wasn’t part of a huge master plan to pretend to be injured to get out of playing for Wales? I’m starting to think that sometimes posters in apostle and Twitter may be jumping to the wrong conclusions on occasions.

Only a broken arm? I standard corrected, can't argue with that.

He would have had an x-ray pretty soon after the game on Wednesday so no reason why this couldn't have been said by the FAW at the time of withdrawal.

With it being reported as a wrist issue I was tempted to call HRK a wanker. Glad I didn't.

However long it takes to get it confirmed, it's probably best to assume it's not malicious in the mean time

Or perhaps we could not think the worst of our players every time based on a few individuals over the years. Give our players the benefit of the doubt until we have reason to believe otherwise. At the moment, if someone gets injured people automatically presume they are faking in the first instance.

Any update on how his injury is coming along? Could really do with him being available for the next two games, especially with the likes of Brooks looking even more unlikely.

Hal is back and on the bench for WBA today. Would be great to have him match fit ready for the qualifiers in March, did well in his cameo in the NL.

Not sure Hal makes the squad for Euros. Who you include Hal? Zero goals for West Brom this season albeit not starting and in a very poor side. Sent home from Welsh squad for breaking protocol.
