jimexotic if he was playing as a wing back and playing well he'd have a very good shout for the squad, but given he's a winger I think he's got too any players ahead of him. Even Wes Burns who is probably 5th/6th choice for us is ahead of Sorba

Ah, OK... hope our Cymru players all stay fit and injury-free over this next spate of club games, pre-camp.
Should be interesting, anyway, to see how Sorba, Colwill and others shape up in tonight's game.
(Cardiff going for three league wins on the trot).

Cardiff 1-0 Huddersfield, last night:
Sorba and Rubin mentioned in BBC report as follows:
" Sorba Thomas saw his free-kick deflected just wide as the visitors looked to create an opening... "
" Cardiff threatened to add a second when substitute Rubin Colwill's driving run culminated in a 20-yard shot that Nicholls saved ".

Sofascore suggesting he played a lot of the game from left side today. Could be an interesting development as he continues to create chances, especially if he improves his defensive game too.

With Huddersfield basically relegated, what now for Sorba? Linked with Wrexham in the past, probably a few Championship sides looking at him, possibly Rangers or Celtic too.

Tops the Championship for chances created (123) and successful crosses (148). Given he's playing for a team about to be relegated that's pretty impressive. Should certainly move to a top Championship or lower Premier league side.

Classic playing devils advocate... who would you drop for him? Brennan, Wilson, James, Brooks? Neco or Roberts and play him wing back where is wouldn't be as effective?

I think he'd do well at a club like Luton, he's within their tight and sensible budget, fits their kind of style and I think he'd grab a lot of assists in that team

He would need to improve the defensive side of his game mind as his stats are poor in that department. He'd also have to dislodge Ogbene at right wingback, which is a challenge.

The guys can't defend to save his life. He had one period under Corberan where he 'played' RWB (which is when he broke onto the scene). We played them at the Kenny at that point. He wasn't playing WB. They were actually playing an asymmetric system where the RCB (Matty Pearson) was basically covering RB so Sorba never had to backtrack past halfway. So he can only really get in as a wide forward which is where we are strongest.
Also wouldn't surprise me if after relegation, we go back to a 3-5-2 from a 3-4-3. Ogbene & Brown can both play up top and RWB. Whilst Chong can easily play as a #10 in that system and we have McAtee and Joe Taylor coming back. Meaning the only player that doesn't really fit is Andros Townsend, who doesn't look like he has the stamina to start regularly anyway so would be perfect to be on the bench if you wanted to change to a front 3 within games anyway.

Huddersfield have just been relegated and Sorba has a pic of him posted in his Instagram story wearing a Liverpool shirt. Thick as shit at times is Sorba.

Not sure we will see Sorba again as long as Page is in charge.Allegedly a fallout over lack of playing time in last camp he attended-not selected since.

Man the last two posts are a bit depressing, if you think it represents Welsh football fans mindsets.

As per @dragonsoccer. Linked with a move to Nantes in Ligue 1 France. Would be fantastic if it came off.

Is it Alan Nixon who has reported it? Some social media websites grade journalists from usually right (top tier) and down, but not sure what this one would get.
Regardless, I think it's really valuable for our young players to be willing to go abroad. Almost everyone has come back better for the experience.

If our Craig likes what he sees, I think I can forgive him for not scoring against the USA ;-)

Real Madrid start four offensive players all wanting to be on the left side so why can't we do the same with right sided players?
In all seriousness, Sorba going abroad to be the best player he can be deserves so much respect.
