He's not even getting off the bench for the side second bottom in one of the weakest Championship leagues in ages.

I got that wrong, he came off the bench on 38 minutes with Huddersfield a goal up, they went on to lose 2-1. Maybe he needs a loan move to sort himself out, it looks like the classic case of a non league player coming up and doing really well only to then struggle the second the going gets a bit tough. Either that or he isn't actually that good but last season he looked amazing at times. In terms of what he's done in a Wales shirt, he's never really stood out at any moment but he had a brilliant chance to put a ball into the box very late on against USA, we had Kieffer in the box and the potential to cause mayhem but he floated an overhit ball into an area that was never going to do anything. Dead ball specialist and he did that. Let's hope he can get himself sorted out because I was really excited when he first burst on the scene.

His performance proved what I have thought from him throughout. His set-pieces crossing is on another level, but he offers very little beyond that.

He shouldn't be in the next squad, not right now, he's not done anything to deserve it and I say this as a fan, he was electric at the start of 21/22.

He was great last season, a fairytale story, buzzing that he got a call up and over the moon for him that he went from non-league to appearing at a World Cup However, now is the time for us to re-evaluate our talent pool, and we need to broaden our squad all over the pitch. For me, that means Sorba needs to miss a few camps as we explore alternatives. No one should be a guaranteed place in the squad, you have to play your way back in |

Played the full game on the right hand side of a front three but ended up playing in three different positions over the course of the game apparently. They lost 3-1 to Preston and it doesn't sound like Sorba did too much but he did play a part in the goal. Not a good place for him to be right now although, rather bizarrely, I still wouldn't bet against them turning it around and pushing for the play offs, so weak is the Championship at the moment, this FA Cup defeat is probably a blessing.

Edit, a quick look on social media and forums and he's now mostly hated by Huddersfield fans for a big ego, crap attitude and being poor. Some are saying he's being scapegoated, which would be standard for a Welsh player at an English club. |

Strange that he's moving up the league when he was struggling to start for a Huddersfield team that's not doing well
Last season he was obviously in much better form, if Blackburn can get that same tune out of him that's great. This feels like a bit of an olive branch for him tbh. On current form I wouldn't be calling him up, but let's see how he does at his new club

He'll get 3 or 4 cameo's off the bench, he's cup tied so he can't grab an opportunity in the fourth round. It's up to him to come off the bench and do something, prove he's not a flash in the pan that road a wave of good form and hype long enough to get him to a World Cup. I like him even if he does come across a bit dumb at times, it's just how the World is now though I suppose. Let's hope he turns it around and improves as a player from his experiences.

Looks like some people on here seem to forget that our Sorba actually played in a World Cup -0) To be honest I wish I could forget about that, he came on right at the death had a brilliant opportunity to display what he's all about and fluffed his lines. I'm a fan of Sorba, I was as loud as most about wanting him called up and he was in fabulous form at times last season and he was coming across as a very likeable guy which I'm sure he is but this season hasn't gone to plan. It was bound to happen, given his career trajectory, that he'd have a dip, he just needs to ride out this low and push on. |

Robert is there to watch.
Sorba doing ok, considering he hasn't played in five weeks.
His corner-taking skills are a bit rusty, but showing plenty of energy and determination. Kept McClean very quiet as well.
I thought Jack did well. but was pulled off after 60' - he had some really elegant touches and lay-offs near the box (one to Sorba that had a decent shot stopped).

Glad to hear he's turned things around. Thought he might have been a flash in the pan when he started getting dropped at Huddersfield, but no issue with calling him up now & glad he's found his feet at Championship level
Still wish he could become more of a wing back but he's a really likeable character anyway

That clip of him running 60 odd yards at full pelt, forcing an error and then carrying the ball forward before playing a beautifully weighted ball down the line, that's the kind of thing that can lift a team and change a game. I'd never stopped being a fan of his but like you I was concerned that he might have been found out, I think it's just Huddersfield though, they're a mess.
